10 laps to go, Verstappen and Kimi fighting for the win & Vettel and Ricciardo battling for 3rd. And the latter two are closing on the first two. You could probably throw a blanket over them at the finish.

RICCIARDO WITH A BIG LUNGE UP THE INSIDE OF VETTEL, ALMOST PAYS OFF!
(And Vettel has a moan about it on the radio... Even Martin Brundle's like "Seb, shut up")

And by God, MAX VERSTAPPEN becomes the 106th driver, the youngest ever and the first from the Netherlands to WIN a Formula One Grand Prix! He wins it in Spain!

Well deserved win for the first ever Dutch winner and the youngest ever! Calling him a future world champion isn't a ridiculous thought.
A great race, it was close right to the end, 5.5 seconds covering the top 3.
Good result for Ferrari as well, it could easily have been Kimi on the top step instead.

Hell of a race today. If you would have told me last year, during the Red Bull engine dispute, that RB would win a race I would have been shocked. Combine with Max getting promoted to the A team mid season and winning his first race in the car and I need a forklift to get my jaw off the floor.

When I was 18 I was 6 stone heavier and Turned down for a job at McDonalds, and yet here's Max winning an F1 race.

Yeah, I'd be very surprised if both Hamilton and Rosberg remain at Mercedes next season.
I think one of them has to go.

Yeah, I'd be very surprised if both Hamilton and Rosberg remain at Mercedes next season. I think one of them has to go. Lewis will be gone, he seems intrigued to try different racing. Go to hear Indy is going back to W.Glen. They need to put a race back in Watkins Glen. Now they can use it as a test this year to see attendance numbers and decide whether to bring it back to the schedule next year. Would like to think I did my part. I contacted them and really pushed them to go back since the Boston deal fell apart. Good to see they're going back to another track that has Open wheel roots.

Matt Kenseth barely holds off Kyle Larson and Chase Elliot over the last 9 laps to win at Dover!

If anyone is interested, CMT has a 3 part special on NASCAR that is a lot of fun. Extremely pro-France family but still fun.

So the Sprint All-Star Race rules apparently knowing full well that Chase Elliott will win the fan vote this year, decided "for no reason" to expand the fan-vote to allow two drivers to advance via fan vote. I swear this sport will do anything to get Danica into an All-Star Race she has no business being in...just give it up.

There explanation is decent at least. Gordon would be in thanks to a win last year but is not so the field is short. Could have just let Chase have that since it is his team now but whatever.

Even if we take Chase out of the equation I can see Blaney and DiBenedetto beating her in the fan vote. Matt has Reddit behind him and we know how that helped Josh Wise.

All star race in a rain delay, I don't know the last time the All star race formally known as the Winston select was held in the daytime
