A near 40-year old man rushing back from a serious injury so he can resume his very physically-demanding career? Makes sense. He didn't want to follow the lead of that other near 40 year old man who didn't even start his NEW physically demanding career, brother.

I assume this means he's trying to get back for Wrestlemania. Ugh. I don't mean Cena any ill harm, but I was genuinely looking forward to a Cena-free Mania.
His presence is exhausting at this point. It reminds me of WCW in the spring/summer during the Hogan years. He would go away to film some crap movie and other guys would get the spotlight. The show would get fresh and interesting and then on a Nitro/Saturday Night in late June, American Made or Voodoo Child would hit and it would be deflating cuz you knew Hulk was back to take his main event spot and squash some guys newly-built momentum. That's how I feel now about Cena's return.

Yeah he's going to try and return to WM just to get through with that Taker match, dammit. I'm upset because Cena's going to end up hurting himself again. Come on now John.

He did return from a torn pec muscle in less than 4 months so I wouldn't doubt he could safely return early in this case too.

IF that is what he means then I hope he pulls it off, obviously without damaging himself in the process, I miss Cena.

As others have said, a man literally just retired on national television because of a career of concussions and rushing back from injuries.
If John is trying to come back early when it is well known, from his own admission, that he isn't lifting the weights he usually does and is still recovering, then he basically cares more about Vince and the WWE then he does for himself.
Just rest, John. WrestleMania won't go kaput and never be run again if you aren't there. Your health is much more important.

Cena vs. Undertaker is more appealing, than Owens vs. Undertaker.

risky action: waiting the amount of time it would take for the same injury to heal in a normal person. he's never done that before after all.

I saw a video of his first workout in the gym after surgery last week, dude could not even move. If he comes back that quick at that age then he truly is superman. I remember people saying his healing powers are insane back in 2008, but now 8 years later? Would be a miracle

Said last week I would not be shocked to see him back and working with Taker at WM. They need him and he has freaky recovery abilities. I honestly would not be shocked to find out he was meant to be a post-WM Raw surprise to challenge Roman but got moved up a night to face Taker.

Somewhere, Nikki Bella is rubbin' her hands together like Birdman in hopes that John is finally going to cave and propose. {Spoiler}Cena wins.

I wouldn't mind Owens vs. Taker. I'd rather see Cena and Taker wrestle younger guys. I know people say "looking good in defeat" against the top stars "doesn't mean anything", but there are a lot of guys on the roster who would probably rather get the chance to go 15-25 minutes and show that they can hang with the big dogs rather than just be thrown in a multiman clusterf***, a warm body in the ARMBAR, or not on the card at all.

If he does wind up rushing his recovery yet again, I seriously expect that some day he's just going to collapse into a pile of limbs mid-match like the Bluesmobile at the end of The Blues Brothers.

You're about to find out what hypocrites wwe are...
All that daniel Bryan stuff the last few weeks, now they're gonna LET Cena skip his rehab time just to come back for a match in dallas
