Once again I'm reminded how absurd Starlight's backstory is when it apparently never occurred to her to write to Starburst at any point. Anxiety over the fact that she couldn't measure up to his level. Hence, the beginning of her obcession with equality (as she saw it). |

Anxiety over the fact that she couldn't measure up to his level. Hence, the beginning of her obcession with equality (as she saw it). Even still, such a close relationship, and no attempt at contact? If Starlight had tried visiting Sunburst, saw how advanced he was, and then decided not to ever see him, at least that would make some sense. As is, it feels like she just gave up as soon as he left. Let's not even get into the gap in logic of someone with access to time travel not bothering to try and fix the terrible moment in her backstory. |
