Part 1 is definitely suffering from being all set up, and unlike the first parts of Twilight's Kingdom or Cutie Markless, doesn't have enough fun character bits to keep the pace interesting.

I'm just going to throw out, so far this episode is really boring. Not so much boring, as there is a LOT of padding and exposition. Yeah, that's kind of the issue. I figured that train scene was the post-opening scene in the preview and even in context it felt like it, just... With fifteen minutes of nothing first. |
