Final score for "The Gift of Maud Pie" is... 8/10. A great simple character piece, involving a unique pairing with Rarity and Pinkie and some solid development for the relationship between the Pie sisters. Between that, the very solid comedy bits with all three, and Manehattan being a consistently fun location (unlike the Crystal Empire), its a great cleanser after the fumbled attempt at a premiere last week.

The thing I got from it is that Maud has some level of Pinkie sense and fourth wall breaking powers... at least as it pertains to stopping people avoiding questions.
