Between this and the ending to that SmackDown match with AJ, it's obvious Jericho is extremely good at changing the finish on the fly.

Holy shit, Jericho handled that so incredibly well. It didn't even occur to me that it wasn't a work.
As for Neville, let's just hope it's a bad sprain and nothing more serious.

Also, that looks exactly like what I was criticising Eva Marie's Sliding STO for nearly accomplishing Amazing how the most mundane thing ever can get you. I bet he's done that spot 500 times before It's part of why I think it's dickish when people make fun of Nash for stepping the wrong way, or when Randy hit the mat and hurt himself. Shit happens, either due to the wrong angle or wear and tear catching up. That said, it also makes me that much more irritated thinking about how asinine Teddy Hart was to dive off of the cage when people weren't prepared for him in that one infamous spot. Not only did he put everyone at risk, he stole that much wear and tear off of the guys who caught him. Even in a best case scenario, you wear out over time.

I'm convinced that Kidd and Misawa's necks going were both less of "dropped on the back of the head", and more "dropped on the back of the head 5000 times and then taking the proverbial straw to the camel's back"

I want to say they are leaning towards that being the case for Kidd, and I can only assume the same was the case for Misawa with Saito, given he was damn near decapitated under the clinical definition, obviously his head didn't fly off.

Somewhere, Punk is blaming Ryback for this. And therefore, his sheep on Twitter too.

People just aren't designed to land flat on the back of their neck. if you aren't either fat or muscly, I can guarantee you that the impact point of a Back Drop is the C2 and C3 (aka "if these go, you're quadraplegic") vs the canvas, with zero padding. Misawa's neck was probably already atrocious just from having taken both the Ganso Bomb and the original Burning Hammer

Good cover, except for the heel yelling "HE'S HURT!" Of course, emotions run high.

Good cover, except for the heel yelling "HE'S HURT!" Of course, emotions run high. And loudly asking "Is he ok?" I don't think it was a great cover, but Jericho handled it awesomely, getting legit pissed at the dumbass ref who wouldn't count the 3 when it was clear Neville couldn't stand and wasn't ok.

Early news I'm finding through Twitter and Reddit is that he's broken both his tibia and his ankle. That's a debut WrestleMania right out the window for him.

Looking into it a bit seems like, if there aren't any complications, that could put him out anywhere between about three to five months. So not as bad as it could maybe be, but still definitely could be a lot better.

Well, I'm no star athelte, and I had tendon damage as well, but when I got a similar injury playing hockey, I was still not allowed to put weight on it for 3 months. Wasn't playing hockey till nearly 7 months later, and I should have waited another month.
