Meltz says a broken shinbone and ankle. So he will be out for some time :-(
For f*** sake not only another talent but another very valuable in ring guy to have around gone for the foreseeable future. He probably was a shoe in to have a place in the Global Cruiserweight Series as well, now I am unsure if he will be back for the tapings or not

Holy f***, I thought it had to be a work because of how well Jericho handled it. I hope Neville's alright, because that looks horrific. This is a PSA to wrestlers who don't think that the little shit matters
Rollins and Neville have both injured themselves on MUNDANE spots, a Sunset Flip and a Slide through, two Spots that are routine and relative in wrestling.
It's not always the big bumps that get you. In fact more often than not, it's the little shit you don't expect in wrestling. Perfect example of this is Barrett, don't know how many times he's gotten hurt taking basically routine bumps, or Rusev when he broke his ankle just falling the wrong way.
Shit luck just seems to be happening more in wrestling, especially these last few years.
Triple H tore his quad by planting wrong, and then tore it again by hitting a spinebuster. Lita dove to the outside, took a header, was folded in half, and amazingly walked away with no injury. A few weeks later she jumped from the apron and landed wrong, which shredded her knee. The human body man, you do one thing wrong and it lets you know.

He has a broken ankle and shinbone, at least according to uncle Dave.
Real shame. 3 weeks before his first Mania too.

Jericho deserves all the props in the world for this right now. The way he handled that was astonishingly good. Yeah, there's a certain instance I remember nearly a decade ago where someone got injured and the opponent ended up pulling that person from the same area of the body that got hurt to the center of the ring to get a pinfall. It was really stupid, and I'm glad Jericho got the match stopped in a way that posed no additional danger to Neville. Beth Phoenix grabbing Candice after she fell off the turnbuckle.

I wonder how this will affect the plans for the Owens/Zayn IC Championship feud leading to a multi-man match, because I felt like it was going to be done specifically to give someone like Neville a featured spot outside of the Andre. Do they actually make it one-on-one now? Do they cut it down to a Fatal 4-Way and only add Miz and Ziggler? Do they find another babyface for Neville's spot and keep it at the rumoured six with a third heel involved? Do they do the Jey Uso booking from last year and put him in the match as a token gesture and write him out early with an Apron Bomb or something?

Droz, back body drop. One of the most routine moves in wrestling. Paralyzed.
The routine shit matters... which is why every time Ryback wrestles I get worried. I don't hate the guy but man... I don't know if its his size or what but he's gonna seriously injure someone one of these days, and he's already done damage to Punk especially... thankfully Luke Harper didn't bust his shoulder like we thought he did... but he's an example of the little shit seemingly constantly overlooked...

Droz was injured via D'Lo's running powerbomb spot, where either D'Lo didn't have a solid grip on Droz during the lift or he slipped on something thrown in the ring by fans.

Holy crap that looked painful. I thought Jericho was covering for something that had gone wrong but not idea it was that bad. Owwww. I thought it was pretty obvious something was wrong right off the bat and I'm a bit surprised so many didn't notice. Regardless, sure lots of credit to jericho on how he handled it but how about some kudo's to neville? How he even managed to do anything as soon as it happened is amazing. Maybe even more is he hid it well enough some didn't even notice. I think it's safe to say most of us would have been screaming right off the bat or at least showing it more than he did.

For the next 3 weeks all wrestlers will be mandated to be covered in bubble wrap at all times.

This is probably a lot better than if he'd twisted it out at the knee, in terms of how simple fixing it and recovering could be, and certainly less likely to stop gravity remembering who he is.
