HHH: Goddammit!! Steph, get me Ricochet's number! And the checkbook!!! Vince: Who and what is a Ricochet? What are saying we should get a gun and shoot at the walls and hopefully a bullet hits us all and ends this suffering? Lets not go that extreme. Besides i have someone who can fill that void. *he smiles as they see Roman Reigns dressed like Neville* HHH: *thinks to himself* i would much rather do the gun thing right now and put the old man out of his misery

Jericho probably remembers Curt Hennig basically saving his career once. ![](http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Wxg0foOGNAA/U2rs1MmvhTI/AAAAAAAAFWo/_JHqq6n7Lqg/s1600/1397259480328.gif) ![O_o](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/browraise.png)

I believe Kenderson had a bunch of strikes against him before he was fired. but yes, I think one of them was a bunch of wrestlers including top guys like Cena said he was reckless as hell. The straw that broke the camel's back was dropping Randy Orton on his shoulder like immediately after Orton came back from shoulder surgery. Didn't he end up kinda stiffing HBK too? No, that was Vince.

Yeah and Jericho was a little loud telling the ref to stop the match because he was injured. It is what made me take notice, kudos to him for realizing and ending it though. He is so legit, even El Dandy thinks he is a jam up guy.

I will add on to this and say props to Jericho DQig himself as not to cost Neville any further possible injury, dude is not only a class act but knows how to save a match and make it still look good in the end. I really hope Neville is alright, but really good stuff by Jericho. Yeah, he came off like a total pro there. Lot of guys would have froze up there and not know what to do, especially if the match was being used to set up an angle afterwards. Jericho just read the situation and adapted properly. That's the benefit of experience. Thank god Neville wasn't in a match with Ryback. "Oh, shit, I think he hurt his leg...I better stomp on it to make sure, then go for my finisher."

Triple H tore his quad by planting wrong, and then tore it again by hitting a spinebuster. Lita dove to the outside, took a header, was folded in half, and amazingly walked away with no injury. A few weeks later she jumped from the apron and landed wrong, which shredded her knee. The human body man, you do one thing wrong and it lets you know. And the one I forgot to mention but it's obviously the Elephant in the room
Droz, back body drop. One of the most routine moves in wrestling. Paralyzed. I know it's already been said, but Droz was a powerbomb, not a back body drop. You might be thinking of Brian Ong, who botched a back body drop during training with The Great Khali. He actually died from that.

That should have been an absolute disaster but Perfect, who could have just as easily been not paying close attention and preparing to take the move, knew what to do in an instant to save the guy he was working with. That's what you call being a ring general.

A live transcript video of how the finish all went down on YT. For clarity sake LANGUAGE WARNING www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUDCJutY2GYI don't blame Lil Naich either, he said he didn't hear what they were saying as far as Neville being hurt goes. He certainly didn't mean for Neville to carry on, despite not counting to three. I met and had a long conversation with Lil Naich last year at the HOF and he was one of the nicest people to meet out my whole entire first Mania experience (and that's saying something because everyone was nice and genuine) Freak accident and nobody's fault. Major major props to Jericho

Jericho deserves all the props in the world for this right now. The way he handled that was astonishingly good. Yeah, there's a certain instance I remember nearly a decade ago where someone got injured and the opponent ended up pulling that person from the same area of the body that got hurt to the center of the ring to get a pinfall. It was really stupid, and I'm glad Jericho got the match stopped in a way that posed no additional danger to Neville. That was the incident where Candice Michelle originally shattered her collarbone against Beth Phoenix. She nearly landed on her head and the worry was that she suffered a neck injury, so of course you drag the injured and KO'd person roughly by their head and arm. Between that and Stephanie nearly drowning her backstage, it was just poor handling all around.

I think we truly know the culprit of this injury ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) (This whole thing sucks especially with him being so close to his first Mania, so I will find some joy and laughter wherever possible)

He actually died from that. Didn't Ong die (yeah, after the Khali move) because he kept training even after suffering a concussion the day before? It was a combination of things. He'd suffered at least one concussion in the previous week, and then botched taking a flapjack from Khali by grabbing Khali's shirt rather than pushing off his back. Instead of doing a flat face-down bump his wound up landing on his tailbone and suffered whiplash injuries to his spine and brainstem, leading to his death from acute and subdural haemorrhaging.

I could be wrong, but you think maybe perfect was supposed to get the knees up for the spot anyways?

I could be wrong, but you think maybe perfect was supposed to get the knees up for the spot anyways? Jericho has talked about it in the past, and said he legit botched the Lionsault and credits Perfect with potentially saving his life. That's not to say that the spot wasn't planned and he's just giving extra credit to a friend who's passed away though. All that said, Jericho usually just takes that bump face down off a full rotation, rather than in this where his head is arched back and would've done some major damage had Perfect not got his knees up. That convinces me more than anything else that he's not just blowing smoke up Perfect's ass.
