I've been watching NJPW for a little over a year now, and I was kind of anxious when I heard Nakamura was heading to WWE. This thread with all of the first time viewers becoming Swagsuke fans has made me pretty happy haha.

This matched proved the potential of all that wrestling can do. No words to adequately describe it.
Like, if non-fans ask me why the hell I watch wrestling, that's one of the matches I'll point to.
Sly Stone said it best, but I'll paraphrase: Thank you for letting Nakamura...hell, BOTH men, be themselves.

That right there is the complete package. Hunter and crew did an amazing job presenting him, but Nakamura is everything old school fans want in a wrestler, and everything that is intriguing for the modern style fan.
You could insert him into the main event Sunday, and no one, not even the casual fan would mind in the least bit by the ending bell.

That was absolutely magical. The last time I felt anything close to that was when The Wyatts and The Shield clashed for the first time, and this completely blew that away. There was something special in the air tonight.

I'd never seen Nakamura before tonight, but that match made me a fan. Guy looked like an absolute star, from his anime villain entrance to him kneeing the living shit out of Zayn.

Incredible stuff. Sami carried it to a degree if you ask me but that just goes to show how awesome he is. Great stuff from nakamura too though to be fair.

There was something special in the air tonight. This is exactly what I thought too. and for anyone saying Zayn was being carried, I don't think so, no. Was Nakamura holding back a bit, yeah, he's adjusting, we're not going to see NJPW Naka straight out the gate. But in no way do I feel Sami was carried in this match. Amazing job by both. And Nakamura's music is AMAZING. I had goosebumps (just like the Shield/Wyatt first time) and said "YES!" out loud when it started.

I've listened to that theme on repeat since the link came out. Dude's insane. By far the most charismatic guy in the company right now, amazing wrestler, great look and dope theme along with entrance.
Great.

It was excellent. I have zero compliants. I'd also like to thank that crowd. They really made that match and the whole night feel spectacular. Really appreciative receptive crowd that I found myself in tune with. So props to them as well.

It was great. I appreciate wanting how some people wanted to go in raw, but your seal should be off now-go watch his other stuff, it's fantastic.

It wasn't anything too special, just maybe the best match I've seen this year.

Hey guys, guess what WWE Music just put on their youtube channel. And I've found a new workout song. BTW, that match was everything I could have ever dreamed of and more. I caught the tail end of his run in NJPW and was an instant fan.
