With the introduction of the Women's Championship and it seemingly being presented as on par with the WWE Championship, do y'all think it's possible that a Women's MITB will happen this year or down the road? Personally, I'm all for it.

It's possible but damn I'd be worried about Sasha, she seems determined to hurt herself in big matches without a ladder.

I don't even want a male one anymore. I'd like it to be women only, if anything.

I'm waiting for an NXT women's tournament. They already did tag teams and have a cruiserweight one coming up, seems like the obvious next step.

If by the slightest chance it does ever happen, I hope they don't add any more than four-five to the match.
Becky, Sasha, Charlotte, Nattie, Asuka, Bayley and Paige all are professional, fluid and agile enough to pull off some cool spots (nothing Kalisto or Shelton-esque of course) but could you imagine Summer Rae or Alicia performing a ladder spot? BOTCH!!

People have floated the idea before but this is the first time it's not actually laughable. I'd go for it, just because the existence and storyline potential makes it possible for there to be actual stories in the division other than the usual fare or this latest, meta "Man this divas shit sucks." It would be a maturation of the division as I see it.

I'm not sure I want to see someone who only weighs 120 lbs. take a fall bump from the top of the ladder...

I'd be all for this, and no male MITB this year. Give that division a break from it.

Lana does a facebuster to Nattie off the top of a 20 foot ladder, over the top rope and through the Spanish Announcer's Table

I know that we want to see the Women be treated as equals to the men, but a small part of me wants the female Money in the Bank to look like some kind of designer handbag.

But then again lunkheads like Ryback (carelessness?!) have been in MITB matches in the past. So if the clumsy wrestlers are protected from the spots by the workers, it might just work!
Katie Lee and Beth Phoenix had a ladder match in OVW way back when after all.
It would be fun to have some sort of women's gimmick match. (I'm not counting Ironwoman, 2-of-3 Falls or Last Woman Standing here.) And since we won't get any sort of First Blood or Cage (did we ever have a Lita-Trish or Trish-Mickuie cage match in the past?) match ever, this might be the way to go.

With all the shifts in the division, including the new belt, I don't know if 2016 is the right year just yet for it. We're just now getting separate diva feuds not related to the belt, and still sorting things out from the most recent era where every match that wasn't for the belt was for number one contendership. I'd love to be proven wrong and have the fully fleshed out division by July, but as it is, 2017 seems like they could better put the pieces in order for it.

I recall the response to the match being pretty polarizing.

I don't think they will do a womens MITB, but they definitely need to start doing more different matches with the new and improved womens division. Going back to just focusing on the champion vs challenger would be a step back. I want to see them have lenghtly feuds involving women who aren't in the title picture (Becky vs Sasha, Becky vs Paige, Sasha vs Paige, Sahsa va Nattie etc) that actually get time to develop instead of always throwing them in random tag team matches
I would love to see them do something like a best of five series between Becky and Sasha with the winner earning a shot at Charlotte at Summerslam. The best of five could include some gimmick matches (Ladder, Submission, Cage etc). Becky and Sahsa are two of the best workers on the roster and are two women who could potentially have some great gimmick matches
But, I have a feeling that WWE will only have one womens feud at a time, which would be a shame. They have too many great wrestlers in the division

They probably still need a couple more capable women on the main roster to make it work assuming they do at least six women, especially when you consider that the champion obviously can't be in it (and possibly a challenger on the same card). I could see it happening for Money in the Bank 2017, possibly.

Do it in NXT and let Bayley or Asuka win it.

I don't even want a male one anymore. Seriously. MITB is almost as played out as "Evil Authority Figure" at this point.

If they want the Women's belt to matter as much as the Men's does then they need one.

This is a bad idea. The men's money in the bank has become a midcarder gets a briefcase, loses all the time, cashes in on the champ after a match when they are injuried and then is a champ that loses all the time and only wins when the championship title is on the line by a fluke.I don't see how this helps the women.
