Never? He was never booked to act heelishly on random-ass occasions to further his grand narrative as a super-face? How did his match vs Andre at Wrestlemania IV finish? How did 'Taker lose the title at This Tuesday In Texas? How did Sid get eliminated from the 1992 Rumble Match? Yes but the announcers excused all of...damn it, he's going to go Full Hogan. You NEVER go Full Hogan. Now we're going to see Believe That doo rags and...just no. Since when I EVER supported Hogan? He probably paid off Jack Tunney to get away with his cheating! And I called out that "hero" everytime he bends the rules!

Everyone is taking her house it's not fair. "What's mine is mine, and what's yours... is mine too, babygirl." Repo Reigns could save this man's career.

Reigns on Monday- "Dr. Phil, I am outta control! Yeah I use drugs, I do what I want, bitch! Yeah I have sex, and I don't use protection, it's my hot body, I do what I want! I don't go to school and I kill people! Whateva, I do what I want! Whateva, whateva! I'm a wild and out of control WWE champion!"

Tweener, nothing. He's just a straight up asshole heel. And unfortunatly, he lacks the charisma to be likeable in the role, like Owens. Maybe if he'd been the silent badass who wrecked shit from the Shield the whole time, he might be ok. But it's just too little too late.

They are doing it all wrong. Have him be hit on the head with a coconut and start to think he's 1996 Michael Jordan. Even change his theme song "And now...from NORTH CAROLINA...at guard...six foot six.."
So Roman would steal Ricky Steamboat's theme music from the 80's?

If people find Owens likeable then either I wouldn't want to be friends with them, or Owens isn't doing his job properly.

I think I expressed my thoughts wrong. By likeable, I meant that while, he's a bad guy, I want to see him on my tv, as a villain, same as I enjoy Skeletor, Darth Vader, etc. With Reigns, it's more like he's an asshole I don't want to even see, and not in a good heel way, but just plain I'd be fine if he was gone, just like Eva. And I don't subscribe to WWEs philosophy that any reaction is good. I find myself fast forwarding through Roman stuff, just to know the outcome, but not bother with what he's doing. A decent heel would have you watching him whether even if you hate him. And truthfully, I can't find myself hating heels, perhaps because I know its a work. I enjoy watching characters who are good in there role. Anyone who watches Owens, The Revival, etc and actually gets worked into a lather might be taking it too seriously. But I legitimatly dislike Roman Reigns because he makes my viewing unenjoyable, much like I dislike Jar Jar Binks or either Anikin Skywalker from the prequels.

An asshole heel/villain should never be likeable in that role. If people find Owens likeable then either I wouldn't want to be friends with them, or Owens isn't doing his job properly. Owens isn't likeable, he's silly. He's cartoon villainous. That's fun for wrestling. I mean I guess that makes him likeable because it's funny. It'd be like saying since Bobby Heenan was funny he's a bad heel. I'm not saying Owens is as good at it as Heenan, but that's what we're looking at here. Optimally you should get to laugh at the heel, boo their heel stuff, and then cheer the face against them. Sometimes laughing at the heel means laughing at their one liners. That's fine. I remember being like 10 years old finding Heenan funny and still booing him. Of course after a point watching wrestlers for years you'll start liking people based on them being good performers, that's okay too. If that means cheering a heel because you're 40 years old but you think they're funny I think that's fine too. There won't be any heels booked in the heel role that get consistent boos anymore. That just can't work in 2016. They'll either be boring and people will lose interest, or they'll be good at being heels and probably make people like them. Funny thing is it's fun to boo the cartoony villain heels like Kevin Owens. I haven't seen KO in person at a WWE show but I would boo him if I did.

Reigns is gonna be the Batman vs Superman of champion. Dark, bitter, bleak and boring and they'll continue on this path cause they are still making money.
Also, what happens when you're booed against faces and heels?

If you aren't booed then you're not doing your job as a heel. That's the thing, we have guys that are "bad guys" but not actual heels. If you cheer them then they're tweeners or faces, I mean there's no way around it. It's a talent to be booed as a heel these days, it's so hard given the audience so when a guy does it well you respect it. Owens is a rare breed because it depends who he faces. Ambrose for example, Ambrose was actually cheered against Owens which is rare. The same can't be said for most.

I even agreed with him sometimes. But when he was managing or got in the ring, he did was a heel is supposed to do. You wanted to see him get beat, he got beat, but he maintained that heat even getting beat up because he was so dillusional in his explanations and committed to the act.
