This.........doesn't sound like Old Man Logan.
Patrick Stewart, though.

Patrick Stewart's in this as well? Sold.
Though I'm hoping the Old Man Logan elements are kept to a minimum. I can't say I really cared for that story.

Sounds like it'll only be Logan as an old man.
Which is fine by me; most of that story was awful

I'll watch it.
I never bothered with Origins, but enjoyed The Wolverine and thought it was Marvel's most underrated film.

That too. Which is a good thing, because who needs to see Hillbilly Incest Hulks?

I'll watch it. I never bothered with Origins, but enjoyed The Wolverine and thought it was Marvel's most underrated film. Origins is such a cinematic atrocity that everyone involved should be prosecuted for war crimes. But I completely agree about The Wolverine being Marvel's most underrated film. I think it suffered from the promotional campaign and other Marvel releases surrounding it convincing people it was another "something explodes then the hero says something funny" action film (not that there's anything wrong with that). The Wolverine is an excellent slow-building Japanese protection film that just so happens to star Wolverine. I have so many vivid images from it, so many great moments of suspense. I think it'll be thought of a lot better in a decade or so. Its one drawback, however, is unless you've seen the original X-Men trilogy, you'll be completely lost as there's no real recap or refresher when older characters are mentioned. Not that that's the film's fault, per se, but I do personally know of a few people who'd only ever seen Origins and not the other X-Men films who were completely lost once the first Jean flashback popped up and never recovered.

The best thing that came out of Origins is the one scene in Deadpool where he makes fun of it.

Granted, Hulk and Hawkeye not being available would alter it quite a bit already, but I digress. Why would anyone want to see a movie based around a story where Wolverine sets out to murder a bunch of inbred Hulk people?

I like The Wolverine quite a bit, especially since I went into with no expectations and saw it on a whim. I do think it falls apart a bit in the last half hour, and the villain's master plan gets to be pretty silly, but all in all I enjoy it.

I've never read the Old Man Logan series, but after reading a synopsis...I'm so glad they stayed away from that abomination of a story.
Pun may be intended.

So Xavier instead of Hawkeye and X-23 instead of Spider-Bitch.

Wait, Jackman hasn't been playing Logan for nearly 20 years has he?
Where has the time gone. Surely it wasn't 20 years ago when X-Men first came out? Jesus wept, that news has made me feel old. I still remember the first time I watched it as if it was yesterday, and been all excited for the sequel and stuff.

I really liked Yukio from The Wolverine, and was hoping she'd show up in more films (it seemed to hint that at the end as well). Sadly looks like that won't be the case.

If someone asked me when X-Men came out I'd have guessed ten years ago.
