Epic Lloyd dropped a very strong hint on Twitter, saying next would be fun with a #ERB at the end.
No idea on the opening battle, but I can't wait!

I want something wrestling related again this season. PT Barnum vs Vince McMahon would be awesome.

With the exception of a couple duds, last season was quite possibly their best. Looking forward to it.

I think personally for me Martin won. Not because I love Game of Thrones better than Lord of the Rings (I love both), but because it felt like he had the harder verbal barbs.
On a News and Speculation front, its all but confirmed that we'll have Kurt Cobain vs. Jimi Hendrix. Also, expect Caitlyn Jenner and Julia Child in different upcoming battles.

I like it but I dunno, I don't think I'm in love with it, not yet at least. There's just something....odd about it that I can't quite put into words......
Certainly not the strongest start to a season of ERB, imo.
Edit: As for who I think won, I really need to watch it more times before I decide because right now I can't tell who won because I don't think either had a fully strong turn. Like they both had good barbs in all of their turns, but they also had a lot of misses in each of them for me too.

Just watched it and while it's well done, I don't care about the subject matter enough to give a shit about it. Kinda similar to the Breaking Bad/Walking Dead one they did as well...
Still, I'm glad ERB is back.

A good track can turn a slightly bad one into a great one for me. Like Turtles vs Artists.

Can't agree at all, there's absolutely nothing wrong with the track. It was just as lively as Zulu vs. Caesar.

Didn't like this one at first, but the more I listen, the more it grows on me. I don't think it's among the best they've done, but it's a very good track.

Oh man that's a hard one to call. I think Julia had the better rapping, but Gordon had some good lines. Yet at the same time both of them kept bringing Julia's use of butter, though Gordon obviously did it with more venom......I think I'll have to watch this more. EDIT: Also, god damn they've really stepped their game up production values wise so far this season.

Wonder what took so long with this one? Oh well, it was worth the wait!
Like the season premiere, this is another tough one that I may end up calling a draw. Both Gordon Ramsey and Julia Child had great verbal barbs. Ramsay was abused? Man, the little things you learn from this show even for characters who are still alive! Julia Child was amazing, she's now my favorite female Battler.

I like Ramsay's second verse with the whole "Yes Chef/No Chef" bit a lot, actually.

Daveed Diggs is the only person who would be playing a rapping Thomas Jefferson.
I liked it but I felt it was a waste of Jefferson and Douglas to have them rap against eachother.

As far as lyrics go the battle was mostly okay, except for Jefferson's second verse and not enough info about Douglass. The beat was sadly very weak though, same problem with the two last season that were off.
