why do I have a feeling they'll do a lot of stupid coincidental shit... or that Kal's grandfather is the real one that notices the explosion... but no one believes him... yet he doesn't do anything... or just try and be cute with future events... like grandpappy Zod being his buddy... Then again whatever they do... I'm not really interested ... I may check it out... but in the comics Krypton wasn't particularly interesting until it went boom

I can't wait for the Batman series about the young Thomas Wayne and Bruce's Grandpa. Well... Gotham is kinda the version of this with Batman.

Right. Krypton was a device. They're needed to be a place from Kal-El to come from. And we know it's going to be a lot what you just said, retconning major events from the Superman universe to back date them to this series because other wise why would anyone care. How long can you make a stable scientific utopia interesting in a TV show?

This would be about his father as a boy being very rich and nothing bad happening to the Wayne family in thriving wealthy Gotham City where crime is minimal because the cities economy is so good.

Because the most interesting part of any story is ALWAYS the prologue right...right?
Can't wait for Superman's grandfather to somehow fight a young Lex Luthor.

Lex Luthor's great grandaddy the first Astronaut to an inhabited planet... at the end he is sent back to earth and his memory is wiped. I fully expect something like that Zod thing I mentioned earlier... a reference to Maxima... maybe a green lantern corps name drop... Braniac being like the computer system (which well was done pretty well in TAS but still)

Someone needs to be saying "KRYPTON IS DOOMED" every episode or I won't watch. ......nah, j/k, I probably won't watch this show either.

Well, I guess it couldn't be any cornier than Jor El visiting Earth like on Smallville.
I really liked that show, but there were some elements that just made me grit my teeth.

Nope, don't care. The tiny bit of Krypton we got in Superman: The Movie is really ALL I need of that place.

BAM! "Dammit!" BAM! "Ouch!" BAM! "Why hasn't this killed me yet?!"

I just put up with a lot of the whole 'Traveler, Lana's a witch,' whatever silliness haha.

The damn Clana stuff that dragged on way too long Season 4 Were the really bad points IMO...I did enjoy the Traveler story because it ended giving us Lex embracing his full heel turn which was amazing.

I've known of this thing for some time now and yeah, I don't see how on earth you could wring anything interesting out of this.

Are we just going to have location based prequels set during the uninteresting period for all the major DC heroes?
"Shades of Graysons" where we follow a young Robin and his family enduring the trials and tribulations of circus life.
"Us and Themyscira" which follows a Young Wonder Woman learning diplomacy and her quest to impress Hippolyta.
"As Right as Rayner" with a young Kyle Rayner juggling his career as a graphic artist and hobbies in North Hollywood.
