Is it just me or does it seem like it's been an extra long time since the last Takeover despite it being shorter than the gap between London and Dallas?
London - December 16 2015 Dallas - April 1 2016 The End - June 8 2016

Damn! After NXT going so long without a cage match I was hoping when they eventually had one they'd bring the old style bar cage out of storage but the wire mesh advertising suggests that won't be the case.

Huh, I didn't know this was on Wednesday. Thought it was another week or so off.
Since I'm probably going to watch Money in the Bank for Cena / AJ might as well go ahead and watch this I guess. Not really a very interesting card for a Takeover but probably still be decent and can't all be huge.

He looks like someone just showed him something insane and he's trying to process it.

He looks like someone just showed him something insane and he's trying to process it. Judging by his arms, I'm guessing it's his drug test results.

Forgot this shit was today. Tuning to see Shinsuke vs. Aries and for Balor to get bodied.

I'm kinda hoping Balor wins... not because I think Balor is awesome. (Which I do.) But Mostly because it'd be hilarious to me if Joe could only beat him on House Shows for some reason. No I don't expect that to happen

Honestly expecting Balor to win, kind of figuring they want to keep him strong and keep centering NXT around him but the only person of consequence besides Joe for him to feud with right now is Nakamura who they probably want to save for a show people will actually be paying to attend.
That being said goddamn one way or another I just want this feud over with tonight. Balor bores me so much and this feud has been going on for like six months.

I'm just hoping for a Nakamura and Asuka win. Whatever else happens is whatever.
I hope Queen Askua has been training her back. She's gonna need it to carry Jax to a halfway decent match.

Joe, Nia, and American Alpha are probably the safe picks.
Finn has nothing left on NXT except a heel turn (which I don't see happening) and is long stale. Joe as champ opens it up more and Joe/Nakamura for the title in Brooklyn seems likely.
Nia can beat Asuka (who moves to the main roster with the brand split) and we get Bayley's return and a chance for her to make history in Brooklyn yet again.
Alpha is the toughest of the champs to call a win for but I cannot see them losing so soon. I guess it is possible and we get Revival vs. Alpha vs. Team EVOLVE going forward but I don't know how free Gargano and Ciampa will be with the Cruiserweight thing approaching.
The one match I wouldn't dare guess is Nakamura v. Aries. Aries' needs the win and a heel turn badly but Nakamura losing seems a huge mistake. They also have so much TV time before Brooklyn that the match result may not matter.
Fun card ahead.
