It's been a slow decline from dangerous psychotic barely being reigned in by his teammates to basically being Wile E. Coyote. The Brock match could have rehabbed him, but it ultimately left him in a worse place.

Honestly, I hope Ambrose gets drafted to Smackdown because I'm sure the NXT writers can do amazing things with him and his character. I stay straight up built to an eventual Cena/Ambrose feud, have Ambrose keep his position cemented by being in that "utility main eventer" spot and just keep his character on high. Cena/Ambrose would tear it up in a straight up feud. Have Ambrose win his first world title with a Cena feud and give him a long reign, if people it turn him heel midway like with Punk and allow him to be beaten by someone on the rise similar to a Zayn or even a Balor.
SD would kill with an Ambrose if they could book him as they wanted.
