So, this was something interesting that came out in the Observer this week, and that is how ol' Meltzy has tiered the roster based on presentation, booking and all that stuff. This was presumably done for analysis as it pertains to the upcoming brand split.
I think this could be something worth analysing and discussing with the board. Someone too high? Someone too low? Is it an accurate way of determining roster depth? Let's find out.

Big Show and Kane being considered A- Level even as Part Timers over Cesaro and Harper makes me reeeeeal sad...

New Day is too low, I know they're a team, but given how protected they are, the amount of time they're given, and them being a focal point of the company, I'd rank them above the tag teams and in the fringe main eventers category.

Apollo is above jobber level unless he ends up losing to someone with a problem with the New Era.

Does it really matter, since everything can change on a weekly basis?

Kevin Owens down a level Rusev down a level Dudleys up a level Paige down a level
I'd like Owens and Rusev to be in the categories they're listed but I don't think they're accurate. Dudleys are definitely higher than the second group, and I don't know why they're listed otherwise. Paige is essentially a jobber now so she's definitely B level.

Undertaker, Reigns, Cena and Lesnar are all four in their own A++ 'cannot be pinned clean' category unless it's by one of the other four members, or someone is giving a random guy a rub due to injury (when Cena dropped the US title to ADR)

His analysis is pretty fair from what I read this morning. He has a good write up on it all, yet again so many points why this is a horrble idea just like the last one from a creative standpoint, such as they couldnt even keep RAW entertaining for 3 hours with a full depth roster let alone a small roster, I hope to god they lose the 3rd hour otherwise they are f***ed.
However from a business standpoint it appears they may have been backed into this, with USA not being happy with the ratings of Smackdown they needed to do something

So, he thinks Dana Brooke is already "championship contender" tier? Didn't she basically debut on TV straight from injury? Hell of a nudge...

Cesaro (B) is probably undervalued considering he's been conjoined to the hip with Sami Zayn (A-) and Kevin Owens (A, and Owens is probably overvalued here) the past few months in being in the IC title picture and Money in the Bank. All three should be A-, really.

I am guessing he is going off her association with Charlotte, the fact she is on TV with her every week is enough to bump her up. She will be programmed with Lynch/Natalya so makes sense why she is at that level

Ouch at the Dudleys sharing a tier with those teams.
Having several former world champions in the lower tiers seems wrong even though it's correct.

All three should be A-, really. You could make a case that Miz should be in that category as well. All 4 guys have rightfully been given a lot of time and focus, and before that Miz was working quite a bit with AJ Styles.

Wow, the roster on paper really doesn't seem as stacked as it seems.

Sami Zayn being a fringe main-eventer is a bit of wishful thinking.

I agree for the most part other then a few things.
1. There should be another group for men as Cena, Reigns, and Brock are definitely above all the other guys in group A. 2. Bray should be in group A. Always booked strong and angles and always a priority, more then someone like Owens I would say. 3. Rusev should be in the midcard group. Until just recently he has not been presented well at all for the last year, recently losing a match to Sin Cara for example. Sheamus and Del Rio were presented as above him when they were League of Nations. 4. Kane should be in the midcard group at this point. 5. Apolo is definitely above the level he's in. All the other guys in that group are jobbers while he's being as a strong up and comer and is currently in a feud with Sheamus. 6. I think Paige is too high. She hasn't been featured much since the fall and usually loses on TV when she's on. Other then having more past success I don't know if I would rank her above someone like Emma who was beating Paige and was getting a decent push while being in a featured angle on TV before getting injured. Dana in group A is debateable. I think in her original planned role she would definitely be in group B but with her new association with Charlotte I understand her being in the group. I think another group being added would give a more accurate look of the hierarchy of the diva division. Sasha, Charlotte, and Nikki in the top group; Becky, Natalya, Dana, Emma, and Paige in the middle group; everyone else in the bottom group.

But they ARE a tag team though, lol. It's done for the sake of classification. If they were getting pushed as singles stars, ok, but they are a tag team act. A very popular tag act and one that's the focal point of the division but still a tag team. As for the list, seems pretty accurate to me.
