Yes, WCW 2000 arrives on the Network! They started uploading more Nitro Episodes of '99 and began with 2000.

They uploaded the April 10, 2000 reboot edition. I must have been the only online-savvy fan at that time who thought they didn't do a good job there.

I'm so excited for this. By this point in the MNW I was all in with WWE and I rarely caught Nitro. When I did it looked like an insane asylum. Now I really want to go back and watch the insanity unfold episode to episode. This is what I've been waiting for.

Somebody's entire week vacation plans were just confirmed.
Sorry family, I've got terrible WCW to binge.

WCW 2000 gave us David Arquette: WCW Champion and the Viagra on a Pole match. I can't wait to watch this tragedy. Also, hopefully they start adding WCW Thunder at some point to catch that episode where Kevin Nash did announcing and treated it like Mystery Science Theatre.

I don't usually understand bonus commentary on old matches, but letting Nash do that on every old Nitro would make them infinitely more enjoyable.

After Russo is done giving commentary on his Attitude era episodes, he's going to do his WCW episodes to explain some of the decision that were made by him or by those above him. The haters might get some of the answers they've finally wanted, lol.

Sadly he's very forgetful. Those type of podcasts with a booker/writer that actually remembers stuff would be great but sadly the ones with Russo and Sullivan are hurt by poor memories.

The episode of Nitro I watched last night was absurdly bad. The absolute best part was Nash going for the Jacknife on Russo, only for gallons of "blood" to dump from the ceiling onto Nash. Except the blood completely missed Nash and he had to back like three steps back into it, and even then most of it was already dumped and he barely got hit.
Also what is called an "Ambulance vs Tables" Match between The Wall and Mike Awesome, which the announcers say the rules are that you have to put your opponent through a table and then into the ambulance. But the match ends after Awesome sidesteps the Wall and Wall goes through a table. No ambulance involvement AT ALL.
And Mark Madden at one point actually says "you won't get any screwy cluster finishes in WCW like you will in other places"... And every f***ing match on the show had interference or had some random stipulation.
It was all amazing.

They also started to upload Nitro episodes from 2001. Looks like every Nitro will be up on the Network soon.

This whole thing of them relaxing the rules in order to have definitive winners is just ridiculous. You'll have interference where somebody gets beaten down with a weapon for several minutes, then they'll get thrown back in the ring and pinned to end the match that you had forgotten was still going on.

I've been watching the 99 episodes and boy are they something. I'll give them this, their 3 hour episodes were balls to the wall insanity and we're not at all boring. But damn were face and heel alignments all over the place from week to week. Within about a 2-3 month span there were more turns, most of which just because, than I'd even care to count.

I'm watching the ones from Australia.
I'd like to say listen to, but I can't understand half of Stevie Ray's gibberish or make out words from Mark Madden's white noise.
Edit: "What would the holiday season be without a random Santa Claus beating?" Crowbar doing his Scott Hudson impression is funny.

Watching WCW Nitro from the very beginning of 2000. What a journey so far...
NWO is still the most popular act on the show. The counter balance? Terry Funk, Arn Anderson, and other old f***s. All of them getting booed.
What a mess. I'm loving it.
