Yeah...that doesn't exactly sound like something they can just sweep under the rug.

Already calling bullshit on that one. Lawler living with someone who's finished puberty?

You know, I want to really say how shocking and surprising this all is but...dude never exactly seemed like the guy who thought very well of women at all.
Obviously, I never thought it'd lead to domestic assault so...well, screw that guy.

Vince has a crush on Lawler for whatever reason, so we won't see him be given the same treatment as Adam Rose even though it's massively hypocritical. Rose was never coming back no matter what the outcome (charges dropped), Lawler will be back in a month, tops.

Well, my first thought when read the topic title was thinking back to Adam Rose and how that worked out.
But, reading about the incident, I imagine a conviction is much more likely, and that's assuming WWE waits for that to happen.

What's in the WWE'S catering that's causing all these talents to commit domestic abuse lately?

At the, "Pulled out a gun," stage... No, they're not sweeping that away, he's gone.

I assumed fire was thrown and somebody attempted a lowblow before I even clicked on the thread. Then I read:
"He said McBride scratched him in the face, threw a candle at him, and kicked him in the groin..."
But seriously. This isn't the way you wanna go out when cooler heads could've prevailed.

Cliches aside, the guy has always dated younger women, and a lot of times, that does tie into power dynamics. So, if this is really what happened, I would be disappointed, but not shocked, no.

I'll hold my judgment until a fuller investigation is complete. If his story checks out, then I'd say he did the right thing, but if there's proof that he hit her in the head, bruising or a contusion then he should obviously get some type of punishment. Though with as he said/she said as it is, we'll never know unless somebody changes their story.
