Now is a good time as any to introduce a new twist... We have the results of the singoff Z-A Sandbaggin' Son of a b!%@hJeff Mangum PIWith a 2-2 result, we are deadlocked In a replacement for the Idol Save, here's the situation: Both of you will stay in the game. The lowest score in both rounds will be automatically eliminated, but instead of a one on one singoff, it will now be a triple threat singoff, where the first with two first place votes wins, and the others are eliminated. Let The Games Begin |

So a judge has noted that The Zombies have been used in a previous round. Here is my response, so everyone knows everyone is on a fair playing ground
"I'll bring it up in the thread, but to sum up, yes it is ok. In the sing off, I intend it to be gloves off, all or nothing, do what you must to win
HOWEVER this does not come without consequence. As this is the second time The Zombies have been used, they join Iron Maiden in the group this season that MUST NOT be used again, unless there is a no limits round, or else there will be consequences"

This is tricky choosing a song for this. On some level 90% of songs in every genre rock,rap,pop,country etc etc the music sticks to a fairly standard convention with regards to how chorus,verse,pitch volume etc are arranged the same way almost every sitcom is set up for half an hour. So it's one of those for me does almost everything fit cliche or formulaic or does nothing really fit this category.

Do we need a round change then? I don't want another scenario like last year's Wikipedia incident I think rad might be saying we don't understand the category. I know that's where I'm at. Trying not to pick cliches and being told to pick a cliche is akin to that round in that one season that was "pick a song that's horrible" or one round that was "pick a song from a genre you think is the absolute worst." Even at that, picking from a list that anyone could Google or use Wikipedia for would be and has been the worst in previous years. |

I'd guess Z-A with the Zombies and Mangum with Bobby Mcferrin, but you never know.

Which is why if I ever have to go in there to buy something I make sure I'm nice to the employees if I do need something. Edit: Same goes for anywhere I shop. I know how bad it can be working retail |
