We had an auto-elimination. Had the elimination round played through, one player was going to be eliminated anyway.
The Host mentioned a double elimination at some point. We could have done that instead of just eliminating Knalisic and maybe we should have done so. He decided against it, so there we have it.
Time has gotten away from us here. We could do a double elimination this coming set of rounds but, honestly, I don't know what the deal is with that because I haven't, nor have the other judges, been told what's going to happen.
Full disclosure, as the players deserve to know, the judges were just asked for rounds and that's why he had the picture one. I don't know what the long term plan is for the season. I figured I would judge and I believe that's all I'm going to do this season, but there hasn't been enough communication.
I'm not the host but I've done all the organization in the OP and I'm communicating through the group. I patently refuse to take over unless absolutely necessary. Gone down that road and I really, really don't want to do that again.

I've been late because I wasn't even aware the songs had been sent in because SOMEONE didn't send me the list. I didn't send anyone the list. Evidently, I wasn't aware that it was my job, as opposed to something I did (like editing the song list, tracking scores, etc.) that I took time out of my schedule to do without anyone noticing or voicing any appreciation. Maybe the fact that the thread title changed to say that the songs were posted should have tipped people off. Or the fact that the thread updated. Because I'm the only one capable of copy and pasting songs in pm or following the links posted in the thread. |

All I wanted to do was judge, but in my case that has to involve keeping records, pushing the Host to post and keep the game moving, and asking for round ideas. I also have to pm the judges the songs for some reason, despite everyone perfectly being capable of getting them from the round post. I think that's all bullshit. |

It feels like the master list of all 11 seasons of Idol songs all together like that would make for the greatest mixtape ever recorded. If anyone ever wants to go beyond the word "nice" and redefine a new word for whatever that level is, that would make for a killer gift* for me someday. Setting that list to "randomize" and pushing play would be road trip bliss (which I do a considerable amount of)
*hypothetical mixtape, assuming what I'm saying isn't promoting one of the things that's against the forum rules. Delete and inform me if I sounded too shady with my temporary dream sequence.
