SNL has now confirmed that the remaining castmembers from the previous season WILL be returning: Kate, Leslie, Cecily, Kenan, Bobby, Vanessa, Kyle, Aidy, Pete, Beck, and Sasheer. October 8th, Lin Manuel Miranda (the guy behind the HAMILTON musical) will host SNL, with musical guest Twenty One Pilots.
Also, SNL's hyping up their election "coverage" featuring Emmy winner Kate McKinnon as Hillary Clinton and Alec Baldwin as Donald Trump. Please, no discussion of politics.

Never liked the idea of having guest stars play recurring roles, especially when there's a chance that Trump wins, does that mean they have to have Alec for the next 4 years just to play Trump?
