Not that I care or anything, but the political (and racial) stuff is too one sided still. I mean, 3 Trump sketches in one show got a bit old.
Surprised no sendups on Suicide Squad, unless you stretch things and count Margot playing a Stockholm-syndrome girlfriend (if only they said her boyfriend was a comedian instead of a puppeteer...)
And Hammond as announcer still sucks :-)

Kate McKinnon is going to be the next big breakout star to come out of SNL. The fact they keep shoving her down everyone's throat (or as I call it: Kristen Wiiging) doesn't hurt matters. That's not to say that she's not talented, because lord knows she is. But I get annoyed when SNL becomes the "(Insert cast member here) and friends" show |

How do you throw Alec Baldwin of all people out there as Donald Trump? And how does he nail it? There is no end to Alec Baldwin's versatility. Weekend Update wasn't as good as last year, but it's still early. I loved the skit about the guy whose girlfriend was way out of his league.

I think Baldwin played Trump at least once last year and he was great at it. And I love McKinnon's Clinton and Larry David's Sanders.
