I wore a Dean Ambrose shirt yesterday, and when I went to Walmart, a kid there came up to me, to let me know that I am not Dean Ambrose. I was able to make that connection myself, lol Ha. I wore a Nexus shirt once and had all kinds of kids yelling Cena quotes at me.

So, I'm at Walmart today, one with 28 lanes. 3 were open. 3 open lanes out of 28!!! During the Christmas season. That's 1 out of 9 lanes. You've got better odds with lottery scratch offs.

The cashier at Walmart, the other day, gave me a dirty look when I asked if I just has 2 bags.

I've lessened my Walmart visits just because it's such a miserable shopping experience, but the last time I went, there were 20-something lanes with 1 lane open. And it wasn't even a special day or anything.

Been working there for 6 years, was a Department Manager for a time which was such a pain in the ass. Being full-time with the benefits and getting out of work at 1PM are about the only things keeping me there honestly. It can definitely be a draining experience.
The electronics associates having to hunt for whoever has the keys is a familiar story at the one I'm at as well.

I can't stand Walmart. I avoid them as much as possible. No one there seems to f***ing care to do their job. They never ask if you need help, they're too busy talking amongst themselves. The stores are never very organized. From my experience working at other retail stores, I would've been fired if my section wasn't properly faced. The sad thing is...most people don't care. As long as they can get things cheap at any time, they'll put up with the fact that the store is trashy. There was a time when Walmart was pretty upscale (it was K-Mart that was trashy), but these days quality doesn't seem to be on many people's minds, unless it's to showboat what you could afford. I never come out of Walmart having a pleasant experience, and to me, that's what I feel I should be paying a little extra to get. I work in the toys section at Target and yeah if my section didn't look perfect my boss would lose it. If i was seen not trying to help customers I wouldn't have said job. I worked at a Super Target for 3 years (dairy/frozen, In stocks, then pricing) and the only kinda bad thing about them is their color code thing. Like don't take your lunch before the 6 hour mark you go from green into yellow then red and have to hear about it from HR. Everything is set to that color system.

THIRTY-SEVEN, TWENTY-TWO! WE GOT THE STORE, WE GOT THE CREW! WHOOO!
Worked at the same Walmart twice. Few years apart. Different position, different shift. Initially, I was hired as 2nd shift instock(called Unloader today). Worked about a year before they fired me over some bullshit with medical leave and the paperwork involved. Came back few years later, was hired as a supervisor. I'm in the break room, reading the paper when one of my old instock mates came in. He saw me and started laughing. I says to him, 'Hey. What's up?' He tells me that he thinks it's hilarious that I came crawling back to work at Walmart of all places and that he knew he'd see me back again. I laughed with him, stood up and put on my Supervisor badge. Lemme tell ya...the look on his face when he realized that I was his boss was worth the shitty pay and god awful hours.
Now, that being said, I live near two different Walmarts, and there is a WORLD of difference betwixt them.

Without going all socio-political, this is why I think all the arguments I heard throughout the last year about how to "fix" the economy or who can do it are such bullocks. The economy is price driven and people are willing to put up with this kind of crap to get the cheaper price.

Who the hell mugs someone at a Wal-Mart? Who the hell wants to die in a Walmart? Of all the places to die you choose Walmart? You ever see the conditions Jack Kevorkian worked in?

Not only that, I stayed in the cabin where he helped one woman die. Or at least that's what the Boy Scout leaders who were prone to tall tales told us. They wouldn't lie?

Also, Meijer is the best big box store and one of the things I miss most not being in Michigan.
Meijer > Target > Walmart > K-Mart

Who the hell wants to die in a Walmart? Of all the places to die you choose Walmart? You ever see the conditions Jack Kevorkian worked in? My buddy got pick pocketed while doing self checkout. He felt something, checked his jacket, and realized his wallet was missing. He noticed a tall guy who was hovering around the checkout lanes, and followed him. Guy started running, my buddy yelled he stole his wallet. By a stroke of fantastic luck, a female officer was walking into the store. She catches him and brings him back inside. The guy has my friend's wallet. My friend takes his picture and tells him it's going all over social media. The thief is pissed and is complaining he doesn't want his picture taken. My buddy then tells him that he's going to look sad in his mugshot then. Haha.

I don't know about in-store, because we're hardly ever there, but Walmart.com is pathetic. My wife and I have tried shopping on there repeatedly and nothing is ever in stock. Seriously. We had a full shopping list and I think 1 item was actually in stock, so we went ahead and ordered it. Then we got an e-mail notification a day or two later saying that the order was delayed because...it was actually out of stock. How does that website even get any business?

The cashier at Walmart, the other day, gave me a dirty look when I asked if I just has 2 bags. Today I asked the same question ,the cashier ignored it and started talking to the cashier next to her. The issue with ours is the it the only one in a big area. So it is either shop there or drive 25 minutes to the next nearest one. So they sloppy service, had 2 pints of ice cream melt one time when the evening manager took 24 minutes to walk across the store and override something on the register.I try to avoid it from end of October until Mid-January. But today needed groceries and it was after 9pm so no other place to go. Doesn't matter if you complain about bad service,if they fire the person that is causing it they replace them with some equally inept.
