One thing I love about this show, being from Philly, is its attention to detail. They never really teleport the way characters in other shows and movies do, where they're having a conversation while driving or walking along a street, and the next cut they're three miles away. They really get the geography of Philly.
Despite the fact that the bar is on a nonexistent corner.

What's everyone's favorite episode from each season? Mine are: Season 1 - Underage Drinking: A National Concern Season 2 - Mac Bangs Dennis Mom Season 3 - The Gang Dances Their Asses Off Season 4 - The Nightman Cometh Season 5 - The D.E.N.N.I.S. System Season 6 - A Very Sunny Christmas Season 7 - The Gang Goes to the Jersey Shore Season 8 - Charlie and Dee Find Love Season 9 - Mac Day Season 10 - Charlie Work Season 11 - Mac & Dennis Move to the Suburbs That was tougher than I expected. I definitely think the show was at its peak during the first four seasons. But I think every season has at least 2 or 4 classics. 1. The Gang Gets Racist 2. 100 Dollar Baby 3. The Gang Dances Their Asses Off 4. Mac and Charlie Die 5. The Gang Hits The Road 6. Mac's Big Break 7. The Gang Gets Trapped 8. The Gang Dines Out 9. The Gang Tries Desperately To Win An Award 10. Charlie Work 11. Mac and Dennis Move To The Suburbs |

I really liked the fan theory in the OP about Dennis. Here's a video on Charlie and the Nightman that I thought was pretty cool. There's so much dark subtext to this show, for some reason I just love it.

A bit off topic but while I've never watched the show. Last year when I was in Philadelphia I was hanging out with someone who was a massive fan of the show so we went to the bar that Rob McElhenney and Kaitlin Olson own and it was a nice place to eat and drink.

For my main dish I got the chicken cheese steak which was tasty as well If I remember correctly I had the Crab Bisque and the Habañero Curry Wings. The beer they served was great as well. |
