saw the first two seasons of it when BRAVO was on in the UK
then nothing ..... not even on bloody FOX UK!!!
but last two seasons i downloaded it, and wrapped myself in it's warm and cuddly blanket .....

I think I've probably laughed harder at some of the stuff on this show more than anything else.
"Flowers for Charlie" is absolutely brilliant
Frank hijacking the tour boat and casually explaining all the sociopathic things the gang have done to a bunch of tourists
Roddy Piper's appearance was fantastic

One of my favorite recurring themes is Frank's obsession with hard-boiled eggs.
"It's a jumping-off point!"
"Can I offer you a nice egg in this trying time?"
And then when he gets the owner of Sudz a swag bag with, among other things, a Paddy's egg that isn't actually hard-boiled.

I'm always interested in the gang's high school days. What happened to Nikki Potnick? There was a theory that she's the Waitress. But I think Glenn Howerton said that's not the case.

I'm always interested in the gang's high school days. What happened to Nikki Potnick? There was a theory that she's the Waitress. But I think Glenn Howerton said that's not the case. Definitely not her. They reference Nikki in 'Underage Drinking' from Season 1, so it would seem that they were friends with her. However, in later seasons they make it apparent that they either never realized the waitress went to school with them, or they just didn't like her. Of course, Frank grabbing that nametag, in this instance, would mean that it was just a poorly-written gag. He should have just grabbed a nametag with an obscured name on it, that way we could all assume it was the waitress' nametag he grabbed. They could have gone the whole episode without emphasizing the name on the nametag, leaving us to wonder. By grabbing the Nikki nametag, it's easy to assume that the waitress was named Nikki. I loved the episode, but this part was poorly written. |
