Small detail I loved in "Buckball Season": the old slow-motion sound effect when we saw AJ in slow motion.

In all seriousness, very good episode, Las Pegasus is stunning to look at. Fluttershy and AJ work great together. So many new pony designs, hard to keep track of it all. Flim and Flam help out a matter but still stay as con artists. So 8/10.

oh BOY was gabbie a weight to carry!!! GOOD GRIEF  she almost tipped over into INSANITY with her drive to get "the impossible", but the CMC really stayed grounded in all this, doing things sensibly and calmly! then doing an "applejack" and not facing her situation! it flowed nice enough and the song was good BUT it never really offered anything new, considering how original the rest of the tunes this season have been, it just felt rather ordinary despite the noise of a frikking screeching griffon in your ear  SEVEN OUT OF TENclose to an eight |
