He is absolutely wrong about electronics not doing it.
Sony have done it all the time with the main Playstation releases.
Microsoft and have as well with the Xbox.
Doesn't make it a less shitty practice but all 3 do it.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNLemHpDQ60Almost 40% of Steam's entire library was published this year. A single year. It's time to once again give Valve a dressing down for its lack of standards, because why not? 'Tis the season! Linking due to language in title

Valve seriously needs to crack down, it's beyond embarrassing.

Why would anyone buy a game made on steam? Chances of quality are minimal at best

Square Enix has a roadmap of significant post-launch updates to Final Fantasy XV, going so far as to pledge entire narrative additions.
The idea of patching in more story is interesting, and in FFXV's case it's even admirable. There is a downside to it, however, one that we ought to be mindful of.

I was looking forward to playing them

the Zero control scheme was really poorly thought out.
You can get the hang of it... but it takes a loooong time to do it properly... and it's not entirely worth it.

The CoD remaster is really pretty damned good, it is just up there because of marketing practices Jim hates.

It's so disappointing, because Nintendo won't just release a Star Fox game where I can control an Arwing for most of the game without any bullshit gimmicks.

I am actually less bothered by the mechanics, compared to how it's mostly Starfox/Starfox 64 AGAIN, story-wise. Please stop retelling the story, Nintendo. We're good, we get it, please make a new f---ing story.

I mean you could make the claim that the Mario series are the same story over and over again... but at least the locales and usually teh how is different... but the Starfox series has pretty much been literally the same story since the SNES.

Adventure wasn't really a Star Fox game, just Dinosaur Planet with him pasted in, so I won't count that, but it's a shame that some of the stuff they teased at with side games like Assault, they didn't commit to anything like that with the new one. All the more reason it really sucks we never got Starfox 2 on SNES, even though it was basically done.

I remember the DS game being cool because it had branching storylines depending on your actions. I think one of them ended with Fox and Falco quitting Star Fox and becoming F-Zero pilots
