Might be a bit of a controversial opinion - please, if you can, prove me wrong - but Cesaro.
He's had a lot of good-to-great matches, but nothing I'd ever consider a definitive classic.

Didn't Big Show chokeslam Cena through a spotlight in the late 2000s? I remember that happening. I think.
Edit: Wrong thread. And now I can't find the other thread. Okay then.

Regal is a guy who can have good matches with anyone but doesn't really have the stand out classic.
Even what people say is his best match vs Benoit on Velocity would barely scrape Benoits top 10. That's not a knock against Regal, he was a cracking wrestler, entertainer and never really had a dull match.

Regal's match with Jericho at X7 is also really solid, just a bit on the short side if I remember correctly.

Mabel/Viscera/Big Daddy V was employed for years and years and I couldn't tell you a "Best Match" from him. He was always intimidating but none of his pushes ever really worked serious or comedic, and his career highlight other than KOTR was breaking Undertakers Face and almost killing Nash with the same move after the fact.

Might be a bit of a controversial opinion - please, if you can, prove me wrong - but Cesaro. He's had a lot of good-to-great matches, but nothing I'd ever consider a definitive classic. Vs Zayn at NXT, 2 out of 3 falls. The match that left Paul Heyman in stunned silence.
Also Vs Cena at the US Open Challenge
Those would be my WWE Picks for him, his Indy Work is also to be admired greatly.

I figured this was just his WWE work. If it does cover indies, he's definitely not a guy suited for this thread. So many classics everywhere.

Test vs. Shane McMahon at Summerslam 1999. It was definitely Test's best match (perhaps Shane's too).

X-Pac (well, as the 123 Kid) had an awesome Raw match with Bret Hart and a short but great KOTR match with Owen Hart, both in 1994. Just sayin'... I'd throw HHH vs X Pac from Backlash 99 in there also.

I'd say Shane Helms--most fans remember him for his feud with The Rock and not much else.

My two top picks are Jake the Snake Roberts and Ted DiBiase, although I guess you could take the Coal Miner's Glove match against Duggan. Jake Roberts is a great one. Legendary character, part of many legendary angles, but he doesn't really have that one really memorable match. In fact, many of his big matches we're all that great at all.

also the great great 4 way IC title match at some mid-year PPV this year (Extreme Rules?) with Miz/Owens/Sami

Kane vs Taker at WMXIV is one of the best big man matches ever.

I'd argue Ziggler's best match was with Daniel Bryan at Bragging Rights.

Mark Henry and Big Show's best matches were against each other in that 2011 feud. Them destroying the ring with the superplex. Big Show's Macho Man elbow drop at Survivor Series. That was good stuff. Exactly everything a monster vs monster feud should be. Wasn't the elbow at MITB? I might be mixing things up because that night seemed to bring the best out of everyone on the card.

Are we counting indies? If so then I wouldn't even know which to pick, he's had that many. If WWE-only then I kind of agree. Lots of great matches but no standouts, except maybe the Sami Zayn bouts in NXT or, funnily enough, another favourite of mine William Regal. Which I think might honestly be Regal's best match, the promo buildup was great and the match told a terrific story. Regal also had a very good match with Ohno around the same time. The Road Warriors are a good example of a great team who never had a great match. I'd also argue that Brian Pillman might fall into this category- his matches with Liger were revolutionary at the time but aren't that special looking back, and other than the Hollywood Blondes vs Steamboat/Douglas tag match he didn't really have many others you'd call great.

The Road Warriors weren't out there to have great matches, they went out to tear up some dudes. Any Warriors match longer than 10 minutes usually resulted in shenanigans.
