Well, one of their referees tweeted a "join us live tonight for taping" at Universal and TNA retweeted it, which is probably one of their better marketing jobs for a live event in years. Of course it didn't say exactly when.

We should make a board game similar to clue where we find out who's the f***ing imbecile who keeps bailing Dixie out. If I had to bet, just like the article said, I think it was Dixie's parents.

To be fair, "funding throughout the year" just means for the next six days because they're taping through January.
Either way anyone who would support Dixie at this point deserves to go bankrupt doing it.

On the talent front, I understand the talent hating to hear about the fact that the company blows and the company is going to fold. If I was working there (and one Wikipedia article said I did for a short time before it was fixed (I LOLed on that)), I would hate being constantly barraged by the question as well and maybe at some point, I would build up a bit of disgust for the IWC. Saying that, as long as Dixie Carter is still owning this garbage, this company deserves to die in a business sense due to how many times they have had to save themselves with loans, the whole being criminally late on paying people, and everything else that they have done. If someone else buys this company, it can only be run better due to how low it is now and maybe Billy Corgan has friends who can help out if he gets it as he may be a real life asshole, but he still has friends who probably make a lot more than any of us can.....and with the rebranding he would plan on doing, maybe some good could come out of the end of Dixie. That is a strong maybe, does he have enough funds once brought to run it right because getting the company to start bring in a return in the investment is the true challenge and you need a plan and some capital to get that pan off the ground. Sure changing the name is fine and a fresh start in the minds but unless he has a true plan on how to break even and turn profits which doesn't happen over night, you won't last. Anybody know why RPW he was involved in, he didn't last there but what was the story?

Anybody know why RPW he was involved in, he didn't last there but what was the story? From all the stories it was- with RPW, he was running the company and basically being "hire the best guys in the region he could and get out of their way". It worked for a couple years- then Corgan tried getting RPW a TV show, but didn't have any real nibbles from networks (with only AMC willing to offer, and then only in a 'it's really a reality show about the guy from Smashing Pumpkins trying to run a wrestling promotion' instead of RPW getting a show...so, the opposite of Dixie's issue.) Since he couldn't get a TV deal, he went to TNA who had TV.

Dixie is not even gonna tell them when tna dies, the talent will find about it by Meltzer. You can quote me on that. You're saying that like Dixie would even tell Meltzer TNA's dead and Dixie will just keep saying 'oh, TNA is still alive, we're still a company and not dead even if we haven't run a show in 10 years and every TNA Pay-Per-View and Impact are on the WWE Network...and I remind you, you DO have a contract with us when we get our money, so if you try and sign with WWE I'll sue you into the poorhouse". I really wonder how Dixie secured the funding. Wouldn't put it past her to have hooked up with yet another shady creditor, putting the company further into debt so she can hold onto some kind of imagined glory. If Dixie secured the funding before Bound for Glory...there isn't any knowledge of who the other money person is- but yeah, we all kind of know in our hearts the endgame was probably Gail Kim going to Robert Irvine and saying "but HONEY, TNA CAN'T DIE this weekend- they're going to put me in the Hall of Fame! It'll be the proof I was a legend of my sport I need! You just got your own talk show- can't you pay for just Bound for Glory and this last tapings so they can die with dignity and then I can retire without a problem? Come on, honey- do it FOR ME???"

So I guss we'll meet back up in 2-3 months for the next chapter in this saga. Seems like it pig. though damned if that EC3 promo didn't sound like a goodbye. He's due to pop like a balloon any day now, so he had to get it out just in case.

Either way anyone who would support Dixie at this point deserves to go bankrupt doing it. So this makes it 3 years in a row, they done a 3 month taping in a couple days just after Bound For Glory? So pretty much nothing changes.

This is probably the best video describing TNA ever. even the "Why won't you die?" doesn't even sound like real anger... just more like mild annoyance at the continued march towards the inevitable.

In honesty, I'm glad TNA is surviving a little while longer. If they'd just treat their roster a bit better, I couldn't care how shit TNA gets, an alternative is better than no alternative. It's mad that they've been around nearly twice as long as ECW and over twice as long under the name Extreme Championship Wrestling) I want a Botchamania ending that replaces the gunman with Russo, the woman with Dixie, and Austin with Vince McMahon.

You know... this goes counter to about everything I've said, but if TNA actually pays everybody off and treats people with respect, I'm totally ok with this last second 1UP they've been given.
But if it's yet just another "more of the same" scenario I'm going to... um... I can't think of a word. But I'm sure there's one that exists that describes bowel shattering disappointment mixed with "what did you assholes think was going to happen if you keep giving the same moron more money?"
