I've watched 4 episodes so far. It's getting better, but all the flaws of the show are structural in nature, and for whatever reason people behind the scenes made a lot of decisions that show up on-screen as lazy, rushed, apathetic, or questionable.

My one big complaint is the forced character inserted in the story.
If you saw the shoe, you know which one

I'd rank them...
Daredevil: Season 2 Messy 2nd half, but I'm a huge Punisher mark. Expanded on the things I loved about Season 1.
Jessica Jones Perfect from start to finish, likable characters or characters you love to hate.
Iron Fist Slow go. The first episode felt like a half ass pilot. The 2nd episode really didn't need to exist at all. But once it got going it never slowed down.
Daredevil: Season 1 Great start to the Netflix shows. But there was a few repetitive episodes in the middle.
Luke Cage: The show fell apart in the 2nd half, with a cartoony villain and plot twists the main characters really didn't even seem to care about.
That said, I really enjoyed all the shows so far. Any bad reviews were unwarranted, the show had its problems, and it was hard to root for anyone in the show besides Colleen. But that's what I liked about it everyone was a mess.

Iron Fist has gotten better, but it's bad when you care WAY more about the side character than you do the lead. That said, Colleen is awesome

I really liked Iron Fist. I thought the first two episodes were a little slow but once it hit its stride there was no point where I felt like the story lost momentum. It was the first of the MCU Netflix series where, for me, it didn't suffer from what me and my friends have dubbed the mid-Marvel slump. Y'know that period normally between episode 7 and 10 where things kinda lose drive?
While I liked Daredevil and Jessica Jones more, I did really enjoy Iron Fist. For me, Luke Cage is so far the weakest series.

I didn't think it was "hilariously bad" or a "disaster" like some critics were saying, but it was still kinda mediocre overall. I liked the storyline and supporting characters, especially Ward, Joy, Harold, and Colleen. The fight scenes were really disappointing compared to DD. Some of the writing sucked. Claire was so annoying. {Spoiler}Several times lecturing Danny and Colleen about violence/killing. Yeah Claire, I'm sure the police can handle the undead billionare and the leaders of a ninja death cult just fine.

I don't understand the bad reviews at all. It's almost like websites just wanted to have a headline about Marvel having their first flop to get people to click.
My rankings:
1. Jessica Jones 2. Daredevil Season 1 3. Iron Fist 4. Luke Cage 5. Daredevil Season 2

Foot was actually a parody of the Hand. It's where Eastman/Laird got the inspiration. Unrelated, but someone had a good idea of how to make this show way more compelling:

Well, I finished it. Overall, I felt like it was a bad show with good characters. I expected WAY better fight scenes in a show about martial arts, and I thought the Meacham family was just annoying as f***. Especially Joy.
I did like Danny, and Colleen was great. I'm looking forward to seeing them in The Defenders, which is hopefully a better show. As of right now, the only shows I'd re-watch are Jessica Jones and Daredevil. I'll never watch this again, and I'd rather get kicked in the nuts than watch Luke Cage again.

Finished it this evening. It definitely improved as it went along, but it still felt like a slog. The fight scenes were pretty subpar, and kinda reminded me of the action shows of the mid/late-'90s, just with better production values.
As far as rankings go:
1. Daredevil S1 2. Daredevil S2 3. Luke Cage 4. Jessica Jones 5. Iron Fist

I'm halfway through and while I do like it, it's nowhere near the quality of the other shows.
My main criticism is the fighting. It's straight up shit.

I guess I have the opposite take as most, as I thought it got much worse as it went along. The finale was just lame. It wasn't DC-level bad, but it was just...I don't want to say unnecessary but it definitely could have been condensed into a 6 episode mini-series.
With a better story.
And better actors.
Better fight scenes, too.

Also I must say I'm getting pretty tired of the "no killing" thing that every superhero show seems to have now. Like it's good if it's a major part of their character like Batman and Daredevil, but it's pretty repetitive hearing "you don't need to do this!" "if you kill him, you're no better than he is!" crap on every show.

What's Frank Castle going to do about problems like socioeconomic inequality or systemic violence--shoot it?
