Is this legit? I know these are the Red Letter Media guys and it's probably satire, but this video is from Feb. 1st...... long before last night's teaser / today's trailer., They do hit pretty much everything that was in the trailer sans bobba and Jabba Here’s them reacting to the trailer with the actual trailer now imposed |

I really want something with a noticeable tonal difference and maybe a different art style, but can't say I got that vibe much, here. I want to be excited, but I think I've learned recently that I'm kind of an old man now with regards to Star Wars.
Still, I'm sure it'll at least be alright.
EDIT: Also, the Nerd Crew is one of the best creations of Red Letter Media in a good, long while.
You might say it's so good that I CLAPPED.

It just looks so bland and predictable. Rogue One, a movie where we know the outcome, could've been that too, but I thought they really made something unique and interesting with that film. This one seems to be checking off the "Han Solo Origins" checklist.

I'm looking forward to it, but I'm kinda tired of the British brunette female main character added in every new star wars movie. I would have liked to see a blonde or redhead female added to the star wars universe, since they already introduced Rey and jyn over the last couple of films. Man, if Opie had of worked Bryce Dallas into the movie  |

Saw the trailer. New guy sounded like Han a smidge, here and there, which I liked....but I'll reserve judgment til another time. Donald Glover as Lando was just great casting and I saw nothing here to dissuade me (that shot from last night's teaser in the lightning is epic....EPIC.) I liked the music. It didn't seem Star Warsy, but I liked that and I liked it. In fact, when they played the classic tune when the SOLO logo showed up at the end, I didn't really like it. Let this music (like Rogue One) be its own thing (until it absolutely has to be SW music). .......onto May, then....  |

I want it to be good. But I’m in permanent cringe throughout this whole ordeal and trailer. We might’ve needed this in the late 80s/early 90s. Mid 90s even. I see a lot more potential harm to the Han legacy than good. Prequels: not my Anakin. Likewise, I’m hoping I don’t have to Men-In-Black memory-erase this one.

Fixed that a bit. But yeah, I know we rag on George (justifiably) but if he was able to direct a scene for a new film, that's kind of cool. |
