Is anybody else concerned about how Ohio State's offense will play in their next game?

Alabama is No. 1 in strength of record, game control and FPI. Tide are first team since Ohio State in 2006 to enter bowls No. 1 in all three

Who gives them the best game? Clemson? I just can't buy OSU.

Saban might have his best D ever. The only team that gave him a game was A&M and that was in the first half

Clemson might be the best bet but I do wonder how much of Watson's mobility will be negated against a Bama defense that has been practicing against a mobile QB all year.

He and Saban are the 2 best coaches in college ball, he beat Bama a couple of years ago, and he was the coach to do it against that 2006 Ohio State team.

Ohio St. didn't even win their conference. They didn't even win their division.
But Penn St got beat by Pitt. .
Yeah...

I still feel that it should be a 16-team playoff. All 10 Conference Champions, and 6 Wild Card teams, with the Wild Card teams not getting a first round home game.
In fact, I plan on doing that with NCAA 14 with Updated Rosters. Look for that soon in the either the Games Section, or I'll have it in this thread, whichever the Mods prefer.
I will wait for the Final CFP standings, because the 6 Wild Card teams will be the teams that have the best rankings, but didn't win their conference.
So far it would be,
AAC: Temple ACC: Clemson Big Ten: Penn St Big 12: Oklahoma Conference USA: Western Kentucky MAC: Western Michigan MWC: San Diego State Pac 12: Washington SEC: Alabama Sun Belt: Appalachian St.
I know App St. and Arkansas St. are considered Co-Champions, but Appalachian State gets the nod due to the better overall record (9-3 to 7-5). Which means I have to make Appalachian State in order to have them participate.
If we were to nominate the six Wild Card teams, here's how it would be:
11. Ohio State 12. Michigan 13. Wisconsin 14. Colorado 15. Oklahoma State 16. USC

Barring Alabama beating themselves, I think the playoff is a foregone conclusion anyway. I don't see any of the 3 teams they do choose hanging with them for all four quarters.

I honestly woulda supported the death penalty for Penn State back when Paterno was still alive.
If that's not failure on an institutional level, I don't know what is.

Throughout all this, I'm still surprised the committee didn't hammer OSU for blowing that 2 touchdown lead in the 4th vs Penn State. A loss like that could & probably should've taken them out the Top 10.

I'd be furious if I were Penn State right now.

Why does College Football seems to follow very flawed playoff systems?
Is it too hard to have a 16-Team tournament?
