TNA is like goddamn Frieza. You can kill it, but it'll still find a way to come back. Nope. Frieza came back once after Name exploded, only to be killed by Trunks. TNA has survived on numerous occasions. It's worse than Frieza!

Listened to both interviews.
Corgan approached tna over the years so that he could join creative. He was always brushed off until tna needed his help...how convenient.
Billy made it clear that he only wanted to help tna he wanted to be a partner...he got repaid by Dixie calling him basically a loanshark.
Billy was basically a figure head as a president and had no control, when he tried to change stuff nobody paid any attention because Dixie told them that she was still in charge.
Corgan used his Hollywood connections to see if tna could get help, Dixie took this and said on the trial that Corgan never went to Nashville to the tna offices.
Billy realized that Dixie only wants to run the company doesn't care if it's profitable or not.
He implied that he lost a small fortune bailing tna out.
Dixie and Gaburick lied to his face when he asked them if the wwe was trying to buy the company. 48 hours later Gaburick went to Kevin Dunn.
Dixie never told Billy about the tax lien or the other lawsuits.
Billy then gave an awesome quote about Dixie, that her business model is waiting for some magic thing that will just fix everything.
This woman is just pure evil.

But is it a bad business plan if it still somehow actually works out that way? How many of the magic solutions have actually fixed anything? It's the business equivalent to Flaming Fajitas that get their sizzle from some cooking oil added to the bottom of the pan after the food's been cooked.

Having just listened to both podcasts I'm trying to think of something I can say about all of this, but all I can come up with is "Yikes".

A weak, pathetic and utterly useless creature that keeps getting brought back to life by well meaning- but extremely naive -people.

At least Corgan seemingly got paid back, or is going to be paid back. He got out of it in better shape than most of the people who have put their fate in Dixie's talons.

At least the definition of "going Full-Dixie" is becoming more and more defined.

Corgan also made it clear that he didn't wave his rights to litigation, suing Dixie and Gaburick.
He also implied that Jarrett, Russo, Bischoff, and Hogan didn't ruined TNA, that it was Dixie.

But is it a bad business plan if it still somehow actually works out that way? except nothing gets fixed. They try multiple times but they always end up in worse condition than when they started. this also shouldn't be surprising since that's more or less what they've been doing on screen for YEARS. We just need to be prime time... we just need two hours... we just need to be live... we just need Kurt Angle... we just need Hogan... we need to be on Monday... we need to go back to Thursday... etc. etc. Corgan also made it clear that he didn't wave his rights to litigation, suing Dixie and Gaburick. He also implied that Jarrett, Russo, Bischoff, and Hogan didn't ruined TNA, that it was Dixie. They certainly didn't help... but yeah at the end of the day it's still on Dixie.

Finding out that "the next level" isn't just Dixie abusing her favorite PR term like it's a tic for her, but actually how she conducts business, was such a telling thing to find out. Hearing him confirm that she plays the idiot and is willing to elt that continue on if it means callously getting what she wants also confirms a lot of theories, but I think it's pretty clear that she's still a f***ing idiot, just not quite as blatant about it as she lets on. She's a money mark who gets worked and taken in by people who know how to f*** with her and tell her what she wants, but she's still able to work other money marks with same. A slimy, vindictive manipulator who's willing to burn whatever bridge it takes to keep what she wants, but who can still be undone by accidentally sending an email calling a network head a dummy out to the wrong people.
She's such a strange and crazy tale, and for as loathsome as the fact she's managed to charm and buy her way into being in the wrestling business and stay there for longer than actually talented people have, she's also so a weirdly fitting in the professional wrestling world.

No matter how many times you blow it up, demolish it, and attack it, it regenerates. Hell, like Buu, TNA was spared by an overly sympathetic character (Mr. Satan/Anthem) and continues to live on.

It wouldn't surprise me if she ends up f***ing Anthem up Yeah, we say that she's finally out, but until the day she isn't there at all, TNA will be eternal garbage, and she'll keep finding small ways to keep screwing them up in order to satiate her ego. I wouldn't be surprised if she gets fed up with not being able to do anything with TNA, sues Anthem to get control back when all of the debts are paid, and somehow falls backwards into owning Anthem AND TNA, despite using several racial slurs and throwing water in the judge's face during the trial.
