This could work if they don't have him come back as Kassius Ohno. There's no way he's getting over with that gimmick. Was it really the gimmick, or just the name? The gimmick itself seemed fine.

It just seemed like the whole "I'm going to knock people out" thing and how he promoted it was just bad. Chris Hero is good bit his stuff on NXT really did not impress me.

He's my wrestler of the year for 2016. There is no question that his name being on an indie card helps business. He's a draw on the independents. He's had an awesome year working everywhere: AAW, PWG, Evolve, Progress, Rev Pro, Beyond Wrestling, IWA Mid-South, House of Hardcore, etc. etc. etc.

That said I doubt he'd Be Kassius Ohno if he cam back, for one thing the entire KO branding is Owens' now.

How much of his work have you seen? Like, which promotions have you seen him in? Seen a bit of his PWG stuff. Watch him vs. Claudio from Eight. I think it goes about 25 minutes before a single strike is thrown.

Seen a bit of his PWG stuff. Like 2016 PWG stuff? Or his 2011 PWG stuff? He's switched up his style quite a bit there. Still, he's the elbow guyin PWG like how Strong was the backbreaker guy in ROH. Hero's moveset varies quite a bit depending on the promotion. Sounds like 2008/2009 Chris Hero when he went by the That Young Knockout Kid moniker.

Since WWE don't have such a hang up about renaming everybody they sign from the indies nowadays, I expect if he does return he'll be Chris Hero.

Man, when you have a different opinion, people sure go out of their way to try and change it.

Exactly, we are, but when people keep trying to change your opinion by saying "WATCH THIS", it's pretty dumb. I mean, I personally think AJ Styles was the wrestler of the year, but there's probably a lot of people out there who totally disagree. I don't suggest matches and stuff. Hell, some people don't like Ambrose and think he isn't the best wrestler. I'm not linking them old matches of his.

Considering the way things work now in NXT/WWE, I imagine he's coming back as Chris Hero and will be presented like everybody knows who he is and they will acknowledge Kassius Ohno.

Hell, some people don't like Ambrose and think he isn't the best wrestler. I'm not linking them old matches of his. I don't get your point. Like, it's a discussion board, where conversation goes several ways, and people want to know where opinions are coming from and what they're based on. If someone says they think AJ Styles is awful, you wouldn't be the least bit curious as to where they're coming from? Or wonder what they're basing that opinion on? The beautiful of the post-YouTube world is that there's so much information/entertainment to be had for free just a click away. It's not like someone saying "I hate Pizza." "Have you tried Davanni's pizza?" "No." "Here, let me pick you up some Davanni's Pizza and drive it to your house." We have the unlimited access in 2016 to have the chance to have well-rounded well-formed opinions, and this board allows for respectful dialogue when disagreements occur. There's plenty of other sites to just post our opinions in a vacuum with no availability for a response. This isn't that place.

Alright, you think AJ is the wrestler of the year for this year but what if someone came to you and said "AJ needs to be fired because he sucked in TNA at some point" because that is what a lot of people are seeing from you. They don't get how you can say that after the work he's done recently and when they ask you what of his you saw, it was a tiny bit of his work from gid knows when. That is why they say check him out in this match or another, because they feel your opinion is flawed by a small and possibly outdated sample size. If you don't want your opinion changed, fine but don't act people trying to show you what is they like about someone or something is so outragious after you crapped on what they like.

Usually, if wrestling fans know of something good, they'll suggest to other wrestling fans the great matches/events they've previously watched. It's helpful. You know, to help other wrestling fans get more enjoyment out of being a fan.

There's plenty of other sites to just post our opinions in a vacuum with no availability for a response. This isn't that place. Or maybe not everybody wants to sit through 20 minute videos to see if a wrestler is as good as everybody says? Like I said earlier, I have seen some of Hero's stuff, recent stuff. I'm not a fan of it. Exactly, we are, but when people keep trying to change your opinion by saying "WATCH THIS", it's pretty dumb. I mean, I personally think AJ Styles was the wrestler of the year, but there's probably a lot of people out there who totally disagree. I don't suggest matches and stuff. If you don't want your opinion changed, fine but don't act people trying to show you what is they like about someone or something is so outragious after you crapped on what they like. Well, sometimes I just get the feeling that some folks here get super mad if somebody goes against the popular opinion. I remember a while back some people got called trolls if they gave RAW a 10 rating. I don't think RAW is good, but if somebody gave it a high rating, why should somebody get so upset over that? I apologize about any hostility, but it gets frustrating sometimes if you genuinely dislike something and then people try to change it, even if you gave it a chance before. It's basically the same thing with TV shows and movies.
