Just a curious thought that popped in my head.
I live in Newfoundland and while winters can be annoying, it has great spring, summer, fall weather, lovely clean environment, good people and plenty to do.

New York is fine for me. You can see people waiting anxiously tho for that eventual Snowstorm that shuts down the city for a day like it has done the past few years.

I currently live in Wyoming, and there is nothing good about it whatsoever.

The city itself is nice.
The country is shit and my allergy is on 24 7 because of where the country is. So no.

No, I don't like it one bit.
I moved further up to Lapland last fall, since I was accepted to a art school.
At first I was excited by the new town and school, but soon I realized it wasn't anything that I had hoped for..
Soon the school began eating away my inspiration and I became very lonely, since I couldn't connect to my class mates even in my hardest effort.
yesterday was a last straw, I've known that the town was known for it's skinheads, but I didn't expect them to start a group fight right outside my window, costing me good night sleep.
All I want to do is study animation, but that doesn't seem to be possible. Now I'll just look for a job in the city I moved from so I can move back..
TL;DR: Local man hates it in his town.

Nope. I can't stand my city or my state. Hopefully (and happily) moving the hell out this coming summer.

St. Louis isn't perfect by any stretch but it's home. Great people, nice attractions and it's not an expensive place to live.

I just moved to Austin a few months ago and I'm not crazy about it so far. Expensive and crowded. I always had fun visiting but living here so far hasn't been that great. Trying to keep an open mind about it though.

I've lived all over the United States. Aside from Southern California, pretty much every place is the same. Same stores, people with attitude problems, people who drive like maniacs, etc. so currently living in Virginia is just as okay as anywhere else.

It's like anywhere, good places and bad. However, the town centre that I used to visit as a kid is a shell of its former self - loads of temporary shops, boarded up premises, nasty budget shops. It was probably grim back then, only I didn't notice as much. Seeing it now, though, it's quite depressing.

I don't know if I like my town or not. The good people, places, and things don't necessarily outweigh the bad stuff. I don't like the neighborhood I live in either. Too many close minded people that hang out on te corner all day.stuff. I

I've loved SoCal all my life until the last few years. Older I get the least I can take the Hipster/millenial/southern Californian mentality. I honestly am striving to move somewhere in the mid-belt of the country, now.

And what is the mid belt to you?

And honestly anywhere..I'm not about to move to Wisconsin but somewhere that's not as..Southern Californian would be nice. Maybe Seattle or Colorado, Iono.

If you ever look up state government jobs in Cheyenne Wyoming, every posting advertises that you're only 70 miles from Denver. So according to the State of Wyoming, a big selling point of living and working in its state capitol is that you're only 70 miles from a place you'd actually want to be!

All the reconstruction around my area will be a huge bother and that also includes the bridges to get out of the city.
