It seems like a long time coming and surprised there have never been rumblings of the possibility of a movie. Terry is one of those characters where he has not been used and is primed to have a good showing if they do it correctly. With Batman already having a lineage it would not be hard to get Bale or Keaton to reprise their role as old Bruce and set the timeline in their universe.
Do you ever see a Batman Beyond movie being made?

I personally wouldn't care about it or want to see it.

Can we kill the Waynes in it?
No?
Then no.

Keaton might not be able to reprise his role as he is Vulture in Spider-man Homecoming.
That said I seriously doubt we'll get one.

If we get this made, I want Spider-Man 2099 released at the same time.

Did love the suit, tho.

The problem with Terry McGinnis' story is that, unlike Bruce Wayne's story, it hasn't been retold and reimagined over and over for the past 75 years. The cartoon is pretty much his definitive story. If you stray too far from the cartoon then it no longer really feels like Batman Beyond, but if you stay too close to the cartoon, well then what's the point in making an adaptation in the first place? It's a tight-rope act that I don't think anybody at DC or the WB really want to do at the moment.

Also making a Batman Beyond movie before we see live action Nightwing would be criminal.

Technically we've already had a Batman Beyond movie And a damn awesome movie at that. Still pop that in once or twice a year when I go on a DCAU kick

I've been thinking lately about how a live action Batman Beyond could work as a TV series though, especially in the CW TV continuity.
Just introduce Terry in a two parter for Legends Of Tomorrow and have at it

A series would likely be the only way it wouldn't stink.

The TV Show at least has benefit of doubt. They could always go animated again but they lose some goodwill after their last f*** up.

I am strictly speaking from people who have played Bruce before and therefor you would not have to world build as much since they would have an established universe At this point Clint would have to play old old Bruce. The one from when they made Terry a grown man

Nah, I think it only really works as a series offshoot where you can build on what's come before. On its own as a two hour thing, I don't think it would work as well or be as well received.

Part of me would love to see it, if only for a break from the usual live action Batmovies, but Return Of The Joker was such a perfect capper for the franchise.

I can see it as part of the Burtonverse as that's really the only one it can be linked to well - schumacher-verse - Do we need reminding of that? - Nolan-verse - Batman's "dead" but I suppose Bruce could see Gotham is still a shithole so he returns, but he's too old and beat up - Batfleck-verse - too early
