So Fire Ant being DQd for kicking too much ass was bullshit. At least have Joel end it on a KO or something and then reverse the decision because Fire Ant keeps doing it.

Between CHIKARA doing the King of Trios DQ Bullshit AGAIN and the Tweets about the company going back and forth between workers CHIKARA just continues to rack up that STUNNING PR this year...

Between that and the very possibility that both Sendai and BSS are going to go over the CHIKARA trios tomorrow is very LOLworthy.

This is why I could care less about the company anymore.

Y'know, the thing so many people used to love CHIKARA for? But because it involves dancing and burlesque, it's frowned upon and wrestlers gotta shit on it because they're salty at Quack and his shitty booking decisions with them. Why? Because Quack booked the show and not you? That's low rent even if the reason he doesn't book you is BS 

Be mad at the booker and what he did to you, don't be mad at GLOB, they're just trying to do what you guys do too, captivate an audience and entertain. They aren't CHIKARA and they don't hold the same standard, but they still entertain.

CHIKARA turning into this bitter, jaded, hipster-eque indy is one of the saddest things I've ever seen in my days of being a fan of this sport.

The Wrestle Factory "controversy" is really really stupid. It wasn't a CHIKARA show. Should no companies besides CHIKARA be allowed to use the Wrestle Factory? That seems like a waste. You'd have to really try to stretch it to claim that something an outside company does has a negative impact on CHIKARA.

The Wrestle Factory is also like two years old? It's not an old building. This isn't some decades old sacred ground. Get over yourselves. People run plenty of different shows in the same venue, it's actually good for wrestling itself when places like The Factory open their doors like that. Shitting on it just makes you look petty.

I'm a big fan of the DQ finish with Fire Ant and Frightmare for excessive violence. Frightmare has been viciously tearing his way through so many people. Whether he's been unmasking them or ending their careers. Fire Ant beat Frightmare in a last man standing match and he's still going after him hard to give him a taste of his own medicine. He clearly wants revenge. That's also how you deal with bullies. You hit them harder than they hit you. You make them understand that you're too much trouble to deal with. It's a good story.

Let's say House Rot makes it to the finals of Trios and loses to House Strong because Frightmare wasn't 100%. That just fuels the fire in the feud between them. It also gives House Rot an excuse to lose where they don't look too bad for coming out on the losing end. I'm assuming this is all going to come to a head in a mask vs mask match between Fire Ant and Frightmare. I can't see where else it could be going with the way the story has been going so far. The sucky part of that will be that it will most likely be the end of Fire Ant since the Colony no longer exists.

Yeah, I could see what they were going for, it's usually just an easier, minor tweak to make it work fully.

Well, I was close saying that Fire Ant injuring Frightmare would cause House Rot to lose their shot at Trios. I fully expected House Strong to win. Didn't think they'd be facing House Sendai. Should be an interesting final.

For people who find it so bad that outsiders win KOT, why is that? Nobody looks at BOLA and says "Man, if Donovan Dijak wins this instead of a PWG regular, it'd be awful". Personally if there's a storyline reason to get the win, I'd be all for it, but if Strong Style won, is that so wrong?

This is the third year House Strong Style has been a part of the event. Different versions or teams but they've been there throughout. Trios is being held in their homeland. You want the crowd to have a feel good moment. I don't see how anyone didn't see that coming. CHIKARA is seriously lacking solid trios this year. It's a one weekend tournament. It really doesn't do much for any team to win this outside of the weekend itself. You can just enjoy the weekend for what it is.

It's funny to me that so many people complained that outside teams never win Trios. People complained CHIKARA always put over their own guys. Now we've been getting some outsider teams winning and people are complaining about that. Personally I think it makes the tournament look like a much bigger deal if outside companies think enough of it to come in to try to win it. Being able to say that Team AAA and Team Sendai have won it before gives it some pretty cool international credibility and it gives CHIKARA more exposure too. It's a win - win scenario to me.

Despite being rooting for the CHIKARA teams i already knew that BSS wining the tournament was pratically guaranteed. But i was hopping for, in case that happen, they would be facing a chikara team on the final. That's their bigest tournament being held in another country, so it would be a good boost to their image to have a promotion home trio facing one of the best british trios on the final

I'm bias cause I love BSS, but I'm glad they won. Was this years KOT worth a watch? That's the one thing I usually watch for Chikara anymore.

BSS/Sendai Girls was one of the best matches I've seen live. Great energy, Pete got super heat beating up DASH, and the last five minutes were insane. DASH flying off the castle will be on Chikara's highlight reel for years to come. And Satomura kicked out of a Tombstone at one!!!
