 Added to "Tooth and Claw". So eventually Merlok is going to be upset by one of these two right? Because it feels like theyre spinning wheels with Merlok destroying them Not just them, the Hawks too. The other Seven Seas boys before they started pairing them together in multiple person tag matches. |

In other news...
Roster's been updated. Whisper is now Ophidian. And, the original Ophidian's profile has been moved to the Past Stars section.
Make of that what you will.
Really hope it's not a case like so many, like an Argus, where Ophidian just disappears from CHIKARA and we never find out a reason yet he hovers around their general existence through other promotions tied to them.

In other news... Roster's been updated. Whisper is now Ophidian. And, the original Ophidian's profile has been moved to the Past Stars section. Make of that what you will. Really hope it's not a case like so many, like an Argus, where Ophidian just disappears from CHIKARA and we never find out a reason yet he hovers around their general existence through other promotions tied to them. And considering "Ophidians" first impression at King of Trios was awful, that doesnt give much hope either. |

Which was his main concern, it seemed. I question the business sense of it in general. By all accounts King of Trios most years is one of CHIKARA's big money weekends because of how much it draws in between tickets, DVDs and merch. I know they have to spend a pretty penny on it too but...I don't know. Just seems like a poor move for a company that's had to downsize as much as CHIKARA has had to. |

Running it over seas was a silly move. Running it against Battle of Los Angeles was an absolutely stupid move. Just run it in February, or hell do it WrestleMania weekend or something. But putting it against the other hot indie tournament. That's just stupid. Especially when your product has been cold for the better part of three years, and PWG is white hot.

Night 1 - Thursday Night Day 2 - Friday Afternoon Day 3 - Saturday Afternoon Running against a major indie tournament is a dumb move because one show is in England, the other show is in California. So instead of having half your roster split, literally almost any wrestler you can think of will be in New Orleans. Why not run a tournament? Running WrestleMania weekend did good business for PROGRESS, GCW, ROH. Chikara was the only show I went to that weekend that had a small attendance. A King of Trios would bring everyone to that show. This past year they already ran two shows, why not make it three? Hell if that schedule I posted didn't work, run it Friday Afternoon and Evening and Saturday afternoon. |

Yeah, BOLA hadn't announced when they announced KOT. And since 2016 was the first year BOLA had run Labor Day weekend, you can forgive Chikara for thinking they might not run it again. However, now that it's clear that BOLA wants to make Labor Day Weekend their big weekend, CHIKARA needs to back off. Do it in early July or something, there's a lull in the wrestling schedule there.

after some conversation it seems everyone (that is not a chikara guy) but ace haven is from pro south in alabama. they were just used on the excellence show that quack,vlad and bryce did seminars at. pro south is also the federation that has the tag team named the "greenhorn militia". i just thought that was interesting.
ace haven was apparently last seen in chikara vs kyle matthews(17) in 2012.
i did not renew my chikaratopia subcription so i was unable to see it but this sounds like a pretty interesting hour of power.
