Rory wrestling as a heel was interesting. Couldn't tell if Icarus's look was annoyance or compassion for Travis. Oh, and I kinda hate how they're handling the Ophidian/Whisper thing. Quack needs to help on commentary to let us know exactly what the story is supposed to be, because it's not really clear right now. Quack is just acting like everything is normal, which it's not even if we accept that Whisper is the "new" Ophidian.

So Space Monkey, Wani, Crab, Crawdad, two of the Hawx and Whisper/Ophidian have held the Young Lions Cup this year. This means that literally almost half of this season's tournament competitors are now ineligible for the next Cup. And that's not counting others who might have passed the age limit at this point. Like, is there even going to be a Young Lions Cup next year? Quack is going to have to absolutely scour the indies to find enough talent under 25 to actually hold another tournament.

Ophidian had those masks too, or rather one of Amasis' and he had Hieracon's. Maybe this Ophidian got them somehow. Or, maybe we got a new Portal member coming. Maybe the Troll will be made over into a Portal themed gimmick. |
