They would say that breakfast was the most important meal of the day. Hell I couldn't even tell you the last time I had breakfast.

It probably depends somewhat on the person. Some people like a big breakfast, but some prefer something light at most.

I'd say I eat 8 square meals a day: breakfast, brunch, lunch, dunch, dinner, dupper, supper, and sakefast.

Breakfast for me is pretty much a weekend thing.

I'm not a huge breakfast person really. Never feel like eating after getting up and especially not actual breakfast food. Too greasy for me after waking up.

I don't like to eat until at least two hours after I wake.
But at my job it's long time between the start of my shift and morning break that I force myself to eat when I get up. I can only really eat cereal or porridge(oatmeal) at that time.

I'd say I eat 8 square meals a day: breakfast, brunch, lunch, dunch, dinner, dupper, supper, and sakefast. Same here, but they are usually just White Castle and Wendy's burgers. But to be serious for a minute, I do love some breakfast foods. Nothing beats a good omelette or some Belgium waffles. However I try to sleep the most that I can before I have to get ready for work so I just settle for a cold pop tart, some leftovers, or a bowl of cereal if i have the time.

There are days we have breakfast for dinner, if that makes sense. Biscuits & sausage gravy (made me a man!), breakfast casserole, etc.

Who decided anyway what the stereotypical breakfast foods are anyway?

I just eat whenever I get the time. I don't really have any set times for any of the 3 major meals. And yes, I'm aware that's terribly unhealthy, but it's not something I can change at the moment.

I have to skip breakfast. Not because I don't like eating but because I'm always nauseous in the morning.

I like to eat some fruit or something small so my stomach is growling midway through the morning. It's an annoying noise.

This saying comes from the days when the bulk of the human population worked in agricultural production. You would be doing a lot of highly physical work early in the morning, so you'd need the extra calories to get you through it. Now that we've moved towards a more office based society that kind of early calorie consumption is not nearly as important.

I don't have breakfast. I need to leave for work at 8:45 so it's a choice of making breakfast or a bit extra sleep. I get a brunch at about 12:30 instead.

It depends on what you mean. My mom will cook me breakfast sometimes, like in the weekend. However, during the week I will have a bowl of cereal or two and maybe some toast. Plus, I will add that it is not always good to go hungry later on.

During the week I'll usually just have an apple at work, but tend to have crumpets or toast with a ham/cheese filling at the weekend. On holiday I'll initially go for an omelette or a fried breakfast, but as these can make me feel bloated after a while I'll go to cereal and pastries.
