I'd rather be a buffoon than ever go through the pachinko machine stage or the chucksters or blue coins or any of the other bullshit Sunshine put out there. And I'd much rather have had the long jump than the slow FLUDD hover. Great game my ass... More closer to good/mediocre... I much preferred, Super Mario 64, Pac-Man world 2, Jack & Daxter, Rayman 3, and dare I say Sonic Adventure 2 than Sunshine. But I digress... I think you took that WAY more seriously than you should've. Yeah, I suppose did. Sunshine is one of my berserk buttons(especially when people claim it was the ONLY good platformer of that generation). I am a sad little man. |

I think you took that WAY more seriously than you should've. Yeah, I suppose did. Sunshine is one of my berserk buttons(especially when people claim it was the ONLY good platformer of that generation). It's sad, really. I like Sunshine but I would admitted that it has it problems. I think Sunshine would benefit from having a remake to fix it problem in the same way that the 3ds remake of Majora Mask fix a lot of problem from the original game. |

I like Sunshine (it's not brilliant) it's just that it's seen as the black spot of the main Mario franchise (side game not withstanding) dare I say more than Mario 2.
It's like Force Awakens, it was well received on release but over time has become a source of ridicule.

Cpt Falcon: Well Miyamoto claims that he can't really think of anything else for a new F-Zero but I think Mario has been in Shiggy's ear. He can't think of anything new for F-Zero but he can put out a new Mario Kart every year?
Interviewer: So you think Mario played backstage politics to keep you down.
Cpt Falcon: It wouldn't be the first time. When Sega approached Nintendo to do a crossover game, Mario refused to do the job... of doing a full crossover and threated to walk out, so they made these dumb olympic games. Gotta make Mario look strong. Also, he convinced the higher ups to sell Rare and basically screwed Donkey Kong for years until Retro Studios came along. Also Kirby told me that he saw Mario walking into the in the writer's room of Other M once. I'm not saying he wrote the story to that game but...

Well, I had a bad feeling when I got a text about the Yoshi's being in the enclosed pool area. I tried to get ahold of him, and it just went to his machine. A few hours later, I got the phone call from Geno. He really took it bad, never got over it.
