So I guess this means that Jack pretty much erased the entire series from his actions, since we saw Ashi fade away.
At least he got his homeland back and gave Earth a future.

It was a wonderful way to go out, to the point where I'd started crying...and then the Gurren Lagann ending happened and I got pissed.
