Two episodes in and I am hooked. I love how Genndy et all are able to keep a great tonal balance between humorous and dark.
Also it bares repeating that Adult Swim was the better choice for the series rather than going back to OG Cartoon network, on there they would have turned the series into a total farce with twerking clowns or something.

Well, we know Jack survives, but how many of the remaining 3 Daughters of Aku did, if any?
Nice touch with them not getting the idea of love via the two deer, as well as the flashback to show a reason Jack can still use the sword, when he finds it, despite having killed.
Though I did notice they did slightly change Young Jack's design from what I remember.

Can't help but feel sad for The Daughters, they know nothing of love or kindness or compassion for others such as when they discarded their slain sister and their confusion with Bambi and Faline. Ashi the lead one is still alive
Jack's inner darkness was startling

Now that Jack has refound himself, it's time to get back the Sword. There is still one portal to the past that should exist, and I believe the time has come for the Guardian to let him pass.
Also the credits listed three of the daughters names as Ami, Aki and Avi

If you'd check your guide it'd say Super was on followed by Kai Knowing them they're going to skip the episode that was suppose to air tonight and give fans the middle finger. |
