I love the Beyond. Perhaps my favorite Italian horror film, if not my favorite movie (my favorite is a toss up between Goodfellas, The Thing, Night of the Living Dead, and The Beyond). It's this amazing blend of horror, style, surrealism, and 80s cheesiness. It took some effort to get into Fulci. I first saw House by the Cementary and didn't get it. I think I was too annoyed by the dubbing of the son, Bob. I liked Zombie, and New York Ripper was cool. However, it wasn't until The Beyond that I got it. I fell in love with Fulci.

Watched this one earlier. Main takeaway is I wonder if the new theme song's a permanent thing or just an anniversary thing.
Either way, man I miss the Greatest American Hero theme.

That song is oooooold. Sad Panda did a bunch of channel awesome themes years ago. off the top of my head Cinema Snob, Phelous, Nostalgia Critic (I believe) and Spoony all had songs made by him. The only person that used it with any regularity was Phelous (who still uses a version of it) edit: the full list seems to be. Nostalgia Critic, Benzaie Games you might don't know theme, Phelous, Rollo T, a song for Film Brain, Jew Wario can play this, Spoony, Cinema Snob, Paw, and AngryJoe. So that kinda says how old this is. |
