Good. I'm glad. His style of comedy is already kind of out dated. And Clerks II/Jay and Silent Bob only came out a few years ago.

Clerks 2 was 11 years ago, and J&SBSB was 16 years ago. The latter has aged really badly though, and was easily the weakest View Aksew movie. |

He was considering writing them out of Clerks 3 because he thought them hanging out in front of the QuickStop selling weed at 40 would just be sad. |

Is he still making Moose Jaws? Jay and Silent Bob are supposed to be in that, and Smith has already publicly stated that Silent Bob gets killed by the Moose. So how they make another Jay and Silent Bob movie after that I have no idea. |

im guessing the lead in Clerks 3 that bowed out was Jeff Anderson since he usually seems to be the one that basically is "nahhhhh...i really dont like acting"

I was concerned about how Clerks 3 would turn out since Kevin Smith hit a rough patch, so I'm happy yet upset about it. It definitely had to be Anderson.

Only Brian O'Halloran every really seemed to be interested in Clerks 3, so it could've been any of the other three:
• Jeff Anderson doesn't really like acting
• Trevor Fehrman hasn't acted since Clerks 2 and has said on Kevin's own podcast he's moved on from that world
• Rosario Dawson has a ton of work on her plate between movies and the Marvel stuff
Rosario they could easily write out. Trevor is a little harder to write out, since Elias was such a great foil to Randall. Smart money is of course on Jeff being the one to drop out, because you can't make Clerks without Randall.

So does this mean any plans for more animated Clerks (either in movie form or new episodes) is dead? I still want to see that ep they talked about on commentary where Randall buys KITT, who proceeds to kidnap Dante and take over his job at Quik Stop.
