Is that a PS4 release date as well? Just Steam Early Access. It's going to take more time to get the official release on PC and PS4,but I don't think it'll be that long.

I am fully prepared to buy this off Steam for PC play. But.... I have never bought a game from steam before.
If I get this through early access am I required to be online while I play?

I don't know if that's been revealed yet, but I doubt it's always-online.

I just realized I can finally revive my fire pro fed.
Nonsense Pro Wrestling; A deliberately awful B movie booked fed.
Roster:
Universal Champion (Had that idea before wwe, I should sue!) Fat Jim; His name is Jim and he is 400 pounds. Nuff said.
Grand Galaxy Champion: Pink Panda; A giant pink bear dressed as a gay biker
World Champion: Powerline; From the goofy movie
International champion: Meemo; A mean alchoholic clown
Tri state Champion: Dirty Debra; Used to work at a gas station and has been on the corner more than once.
Tag Team Champs: Torgo and Ro-man; B movie legends
Ladies Champion: Melanie; No gimmick oddly
24/7 Fubar champion: Homeless Joe; Local hobo has held the belt for a record 25 days.

Some news regarding edit mode, straight from the dev blog! - It was shown in a screenshot before but the post confirms that we will now simultaneously be able to see the front and back of the character, a feature I've been really wanting to see before so I'm very happy it's been included (I know at least one of the games before allowed you to rotate the character but for some reason, it wasn't in FPR); - Each part of the wrestler can be rotated; - Another thing that I was hoping for from that one screenshot and another thing I've been wanting form these games for years: you can now create up to four costumes per wrestler! No more need to copy them (and therefore redo their attributes from the beginning) just to make a variation. Hurray! - Each part is broken up into multiple layers instead of being a single sprite, allowing to easily pick which part of the sprite you're editing, yet another thing I've been hoping for! - There is now a RGB colour picker as opposed to having to mess around with numbers and you can copy-paste a colour from one sprite to another; - You can upload and download characters from the Steam workshop in the edit menu.

They just confirmed on Twitter that there is no cap for edit slots. You can have as many as your hard drive can handle.

New Dev Blog! fireproworld.com/This one is about the online settings that will be available at Early Access launch. Fairly standard stuff, there's a "quick match" mode where it just pits you against a random player in a random match, a custom mode where you can add perimeters like match rules, connection quality, etc... and host a match, where you set up a match and either invite someone or wait for a random opponent to be brought to you. One bizarre thing is that one of the parameters is "skill level"... which is self-determined. Bit odd, that, and it seems obvious to me that some people are going to abuse it, although I assume most people would rather face someone of equal skills. And it's not like you have to use it anyway. The one really surprising feature but the one I am actually most excited about is that even in online matches, you can have simmed matches between CPUs. I hadn't even thought of that but it's such a cool idea, people can just throw their custom characters against one another and see who wins. Should be great for e-feds. You can also set a limit on edit points so that your character who you genuinely created to be interesting and having both strengths and flaws doesn't end up facing some chucklehead's penis-themed wrestler with maxed-out stats everywhere.
