The one good thing about TV these days is that I can came home late at night and find a episode on. So always something for me to watch. Am I the only one that likes the Original show the best?

They should do a Law and Order spin off set in 200 years into the future.

I could only get into SVU. I really liked the original two leads.

The only shows I really watch are the original and SVU, and even of those, for the original it isn't really until McCoy shows up that I find it all that watchable, and for SVU, while I followed it for some time into this the melodramatic soap opera crap it's been gradually sliding into for years and has fully embraced ever since that stupid Lewis arc.
Either way both shows I watch way more for the cheese and to have fun pointing out all the stupidity with than anything serious. Even the points of SVU I like I'm typically running down how unlikable Stabler is and how little sense him being kept around makes, but at least he actually brings a pulse to the show compared to constantly focusing on Rollins's family issues or Benson having to deal with office drama or whatever else.
Though on the early Law & Order seasons issue, does remind me of one awkward as all hell line I heard when I watched one of those fairly recently. Deals with a black man being shot in an apparent drug deal turned bad and it turns out a cop did it, and one of the leads says something like, "Why'd he have to plant a gun on him? If he'd just said he shot an unarmed black man by mistake no one would have questioned it." Which... Yeeeeeah...
Lighter note... If nothing else one major point I will give modern SVU is what I've seen of the Chicago crossovers, they at least are both a much better show than Chicago PD is and are way, way more knowledgeable of how to do a crossover. In particular coming to mind is that three-way one also with Chicago Fire where Fire didn't tonally match the other two at all and had nothing to do with the other shows until the last two minutes and PD just focused entirely on their own characters while SVU actually gave both sides stuff to do.

They should do a Law and Order spin off set in 200 years into the future. A Law & Order Star Trek crossover would be gold. Or Law & Order: Citadel, set in the Mass Effect universe.

They should do a Law and Order spin off set in 200 years into the future. It'd make more sense than the fact they're working on one for viewers to vote on crimes going on in the news.

L&O has some really good cast members, like Jesse L. Martin and Jerry Orbach. I also liked SVU a lot until Christopher Meloni left. The series just isn't the same without Stabler and I miss Meloni's and Hargitay's chemistry together.
At least there's still Ice-T and his corny lines.

Never cared for the original. Didn't mind SVU,until it became obvious Hagerity got more say in stories. And it doesn't help that both series are on every channel it seems like.
But I have noticed this happens fairly often with cable. 20 years ago it seemed like Fresh Prince was on at least 8 channels. Then it was Friends. Now it is L&O and SVU. Like why is L&O on The Sundance channel?

I friggin' love the original. Great show and McCoy is an all time great TV character. The show also does this thing where it doesn't spell out everything but lets you draw your own conclusions about a lot of what's going on with the characters personal lives. I really dig that.
Criminal Intent is good too. ESPECIALLY Bobby Goren. Awesome character. Him breaking down the four prison guards by talking to them in "Stress Position" is one of my favorite franchise moments.
