So when NBC got rid of the show was the ratings that bad? From what I seen season 20 not that bad They weren't really stellar but they weren't that bad, and really it was generally doing better then that SVU was doing in the season after it plus I doubt the show's budget was anything that huge. NBC had been kind of trying to kill it for awhile, last few seasons its timeslot got jerked around a lot. That said while later-end Law & Order was pretty solid once they got past every single episode being about 9/11, I think the last episode is pretty damn bad which does color some perceptions. I do like the last scene though.

SVU did an Alex Jones/Pizzagate episode this week. It was as cheesy as most of their recent efforts.

Can't believe there are people who don't think Elliot Stabler is The Man. One of my favourite TV characters of all time. What a badass.

Stabler was a prick most of the time and had anger management issues. I think back to that one episode in season 6 where Matthew Modine's character pretty much described Stabler's character to a tee. Stabler couldn't say boo because he knew deep down he was right.

I do like the last scene though. I think the budget was huge and shutting down parts of NYC became such a hassle with permits and such they just wanted it canceled. If ratings were dipping, they had basically turned the entire cast over again and for a while the characters weren't really meshing. I feel by the time it was cancelled the characters finally were jelling and making it their show.
