Dammit, I was so close to going six-for-six in my predictions, but the Academy just had to go along and make the most obvious, predictable selection ever for Best Picture.
I guess it really goes to show that even the baitiest of Oscar bait movies can't beat out an ode to Hollywood.

I honestly feel as though Denzel and Andrew Garfield were robbed of Best Actor. Seriously I never even heard of the film that Casey Affleck was in. I saw it advertised CONSTANTLY. Two, three times an hour at least. this, he was linked to the Oscar from the get-go. beyond favored to the win this until Denzel took the SAG. He also won it |
